the magnet is a great feature, the suction cup works great.

It has a good concept behind it. Personally, I prefer a magnetic phone holder any day to those jenky spring-loaded-clip pieces of junk. Score one for science! (Magnets...How do they work?). The downside is that you have to stick the other half of the magnet, the mating piece, to the back of your phone case. If you're like me, and you change your phone cases out every once in a while, then that puts you quite a predicament. Maybe the next model could be improved by using a stronger magnet. That way all you have to do is attach it directly to the back of your phone, sandwiched between your phone and case, and have it work successfully through the case... any case. And considering that these things are going for $30 a pop, asking for a stronger magnet is not asking for much, imo. Other than that, this thing is pretty decent. 8/10. Would recommend.

Definitely holds well on glass and textured dashboards regardless of temperature. For best results, do not remove once mounted. Frequently switching from glass to dash (vice versa) or between vehicles diminishes mount adhesion. Once the mount begins to randomly detach, replace it. Don't risk damage to your cell or GPS. Even though the mount may seem ok when it's reattached, it won't last & temps will drastically effect hold.

I'm thinking a lot of people don't get this because it reads that it is only good for GPS units. This thing is great for phones! I liked it so much I bought one for my wife. It has a very strong magnet, and the plate that attaches to your phone is very thin, so no issues fitting in your pocket. Love it!

I love this mount! I have it on my dash since I hate windshield mounts. I was skeptical about it's staying power, since my dash is textured and not super smooth, but it hasn't budged. I live in GA half the month, and FL half the month, so it's been exposed to some almost uncomfortably hot temps so far. Still stuck as securely as it was when I first installed it. I put the included magnet on my phone, instead of on a case. Depending on the thickness of the case, the magnet *can* work through a case, but it's not as secure. I just take any case off while I'm using it. Very happy with this purchase.

At first I tried to put on the leather of my dash and suction would not hold, but, when I mounted on glass near my rearview mirror it worked really well. I put the large magnet between my case and phone and it holds firmly without taping to the phone. Love that I can use siri if I need to while mounted.

This is a good car mount. I only wish the flexible arm was 1/2 inch longer. Other than that the magnet is strong and holds in place. Purchased another for my other car.

This is a great window mount, but any STRAIGHT, relatively smooth surface will do. The mounting surface of the MagicMount is kind of "gummy", allowing it to "fill in" minimal textures. The suction mechanism then firmly "locks" MagicMount in place. The neck is very rigid to prevent bounce, so you might feel like you're using a lot of muscle to get it properly positioned, but MagicMount can take it. There is 1 small metal plate and 1 large metal plate that can be stuck to the back (or inside the back cover) of your phone/device, which then cling magnetically to the face of MagicMount.

I have two of these now, one for my work truck and one for my personal vehicle. The plates you put in your case or stick to your phone also work between brands.

Without a doubt the best phone mount I have used to date. It’s sturdy, attaches to the window securely and I never have a fear of the phone dropping. I currently use both iPhone 7 and 7+ with this unit and have had no issues under minimal cases.

This magnetic dash mount is very handy. It puts my phone where I can see it and makes it easier to use my Bluetooth because I can see who's calling

I have been using this for a month now and am still enjoying it. The magnet works great even with a case. My only complaint/gripe is the arm doesn't move as much as I would like and my phone is slightly aimed up when attached. It is not bad though and still works for me. The suction cup is excellent and has not moved at all so far.

This mount is perfect! Sticks to my textured dash over and over again, haven't even had to re-wet the suction cup once. I loved it so much I bought a second one for my wife's car and she loves it too. Schorch has stepped up their game with this one by including a small piece of plastic to go between the magnetic plate and your phone to make it easier to remove. I saw a lot of negative reviews concerning this issue with older versions...not a problem anymore. The magnet is strong enough to go through my case with ease.

The hardest part of using this product is getting it out of the packaging. After that it is simple to use and works very well.

I bought this mount to replace a magnetic mount (different brand) that would no longer stick to my windshield. I'm very pleased with this mount. It suctions tightly to the windshield. The magnet is very strong so my phone stays firmly attached to the mount and doesn't move, even with a charging cable plugged in and dangling from the phone. It's adjustable, so you can position it to fit your preferred view. The quality is much better than the one I had previously. This is an excellent product.

We needed to quickly get a mount so we could use our cell phone as a GPS in a rental car. There are several mounting options including a great magnet to directly attach your cell phone (though you must remove it from the carrying case). Another option is the included adhesive. We used the magnet. It attaches to the car window via a suction cup. I used that to attach it to a GPS dash mount instead. Regardless, it served us well and the phone didn't slip off the magnet.

I bought this to use with my cell phone while driving, either in GPS or talk mode, hands-free. It can be mounted on the dash or the window and works great either way, and the flexible neck lets you adjust it to your liking. I love the magnetic mount because you don't have to make fitting adjustments; it just sticks right on. Since I always keep my phone protected with it's Otterbox cover, I attached the larger magnet on the outside of the case. It is slim, unobtrusive, and holds strong, even on bumpy roads. We all liked it so much, I bought one for each car in the house. It keeps the phone up where you can see it safely and best of all, out of your hands where you won't be looking down at it and taking your eyes off the road. One of the best products I have bought in a long time. I highly recommend it.
