The magnet that binds to the phone is thin enough that you can keep a case on it, and powerful enough that it hangs through the case. Never fell off my windshield once. I love it.

Nice holder for smartphone

Great design, simple lines
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a great product to mount your iPhone but i found that it did not stay in place on my cars dashboard...the phone fell off a few times while driving...also not sure if this was the reason or not but after installing the magnet on the back of my iPhone, a few days later the phone was wiped and I had to do a full reinstall, just as if the phone was brand new... I spoke with apple tech and they were not sure if magnet could have caused this...IDK...works great on my kitchen's stainless steel counters....

Cheap material used on flexible shaft

Paid $30.87 They should take these off the shelves and revamp it or switch materials. At first the small crack bothered me a bit but didn't have the time to take it back to best buy. Well, know the crack is enormous. Enough said just look at the picture. It's embarrassing.

Just slip the magnetic plate inside a case and you never see it again. The best part is you don't have to use two hands to put it on the mount or take it off.
