Both surfaces stick great even over time especially considering the fact my phone is always exposed to saw dust , oil and other things that might affect it ! But this works great ! I even ordered a 1 ft cable to charge my phone with it and it's awesome nothing is in the way just smooth

Works great with my Note 5. Phone stays in place, easy to adjust to your preferred angle. Only downside is the metal piece that goes on the phone interferes with my wireless charging capability. I either have to take it out of the case in order to charge, or push the piece toward the top or bottom of the case so that the charger can recognize the phone.

This is a good product, I recommend this to keep the phone out of your hands and pay attention to the road. The one down side and in sure it's cause I use it in a F350 (rear springs a little stuff) bounces a little. Great product

If you want to mount your phone. Its the best choice.

CV could be a little longer - but is strong and stable

Scosche makes fabulous phone accessories and this one is no different. A super strong magnetic mount with a variety of metal plates for a bunch of different devices plus the utility of having a USB charging port right there. This mount keeps everything together and neat. I will warn you though that you should check the placement of your lighter plug prior to opening this to ensure that there will be enough clearance for your phone and that it is where you would like the phone or other device you may mount. Originally got this for my wife but her Mini has the plug so far back and low that there would not be enough clearance for her iPhone. I have it for my car and it works quite nicely.

I purchased a mount from another store not sure of the brand but cost was the same as this. The other mount was suction cup, vent mount, or sticky pad. I tried the suction cup but it would only stick to my windshield and I didn't like my phone in the sun like that. The vent mount also didn't seem like a place I would want to put my phone. So I used the sticky pad, it lasted 3 days before it fell off and it was super annoying having to stretch out the jaws to hold my phone. I saw this while buying new speakers and went back to get it when my mount failed. This is wonderful just hand my phone to it and grab it on the way out. I can plug my charger into it and it is in the perfect spot.

This phone mount is convenient when you want to go hands free. It sits at a good height to easily touch what you need and keep your eyes on the road.

Works as advertised and designed. If you use your smart phone for navigation while driving, this is very handy. No clumsy brackets to release to retrieve your phone.

This works in the sense that it holds the phone securely in a position that you can see it and the microphone and speaker are close enough to use, but since it's a long gooseneck plugged into your cigarette lighter, it bounces around a lot. Also, it might not work in every car, i.e. the Prius has cigarette lighter plugs in the wrong place and in some cars it may interfere with the gearshift. Recommend driving the car you plan on using it with to Best Buy and immediately trying it out when you buy it so you can take it back if it doesn't work in your specific car.

I'm sure this probably works great if you just stick the magnet to the back of you phone, but not so much if you have a case of the phone with any kind of thickness to it. With the magnet between the inner and outer shell of the phone case it does not hold very securely.

The arm is strong, but when inserted in the cigarette lighter, it is a little wobbly. but the magnets fit in my case and they hold the phone really securely.

It performs just as advertised. I have an I-Phone 6 and it holds it with no issue. It really comes in handy during trips using the GPS function.

The magnet keeps your phone or GPS handy. I used the larger plate on my iPhone 7+. it holds it firmly and keeps it charged at the same time.

The magnetic mount is safe, sturdy, and very very handy. It is really the best possible design for most usages. I use it for Lyft and find it super easy to dock and undock. The phone does not wiggle/jiggle/tilt/turn while in the mount which is great! The neck however is very short compared to other products, so if you need a long neck this is not your mount. The LED is very very bright and if the phone is not docked it will shine directly in your eyes which is a problem at night. There is only 1 USB, but it is fast.

Depending on where you're AC outlet is, this things can really have an odd placement in your car.....A definite deal breaker for most.

This mount works very well if your cigarette lighter is in a convenient place. The magnet can either stick to the back of your case or go inside your case and is attracted to the mount. I would also recommend adding a 3 - 6 inch charging cable which you will need to buy separately. Not necessary but makes for a good combo.

Use this on long car rides for gps...easy set up can see display on phone clearly...very adjustable for your needs.

I am happy with this device because it has the ability to adjust the visibility of the arm area of the phone mount so that you can view the screen better depending on the lighting of your driving conditions. The drawback is that there is swaying motion from being loose and not a tight fit in the phone jack plug in. I would probably next time choose the vent mount. My husband bought that model and he was very happy with it but it did not have the adjusting capability.

And an Otterbox. I have had this mount for several months now, and I have been pleasantly surprised. I have had similar products in the past, and they never worked that great. I rarely give product reviews, either. First, it's a 12volt charger, which charges your phone SUPER fast! You do not have to worry about those stick 'em mounts , which are crap, and always come off within the first month. The magnet is super strong. My phone hasn't fallen off yet, even through gravel roads, pot holes, speed bumps, etc. The shaft itself is very rigid, but yet flexible. Holds in place very well. My one gripe, is that after I purchased this for $30 at Best Buy, I saw it at Wal-Mart for $16.97. Same exact product. I did not take it back to the store (yes - I know that BB will price match). I really like Best Buy, and I try and support them, but this is a significant price difference to me. Anyway; I am happy with the product itself, thus far.
