This item works perfectly for my needs! My phone is secure and the charger is right there, I used a short charging cord so I am not fighting with cords everywhere

The mount uses magnetic plates of which it supplies two, one large and one small. It will firmly hold even larger 6-8" tablets through some nasty roads with lots of vibration and car-tossing. The downside is if you want it to work well, you'll have to use their adhesive backing to secure it to the outside of whatever case you use your mobile device in order for the magnets to hold their best. They supply one strip of plastic that you can use to allow you to more easily remove and reuse one magnetic plate so that if you decide you want to switch devices later on the adhesive will still be usable. However, this means you can't juggle between more than 2 devices. If you plan on using this for multiple family members who share a vehicle, I would suggest looking for more magnetic plate accessories. Built in USB charger port, but does not come with USB cable.

Great Accessorie. Holds my GPS or phone without having to worry about it falling. Great price and also the option to charge your device while using it.

Magnet is great, The power adaptor will rotate with the weight of the phone if not properly adjusted beforehand. Kind of a pain if it falls while driving.

This holds my phone close enough to use speaker phone. Easy to use and charge at the same time. The phone stays secure except if I hit it trying to change gears. The outlet i have to use is close to the gearr shift in my car

Very convenient. Simple to use for on the go. Your able to move it from side to side. Very good to use for your phone if your using the GPS.

Bought the charger mount unit after buying the dash/windshield mount for my wife's vehicle (Dodge Journey). I drive a Jeep Wrangler and the dash/windshield mount would take up way too much space on the already cramped Jeep front window. The charger mount fits perfect once you adjust the arm away from the shifter and climate control. I like the built in USB charger (which charges impressively fast). I have an iPhone 7s (it's big) and it stays firmly affixed to the magnet mount using the larger plate (both a large and small metal plate are provided). I would have rated 5 stars, but the unit requires adjusting at least once during a commute as the mount rotates in the cigarette lighter/charger. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase!

Husband drives semi and magnet holds phone through all of the jolting bumpy travels. Placing on back of phone and then putting case on, the magnet wasn't strong enough. Recommend attaching to case (glad it came with 2 magnets).

I bought a Scosche - MagicMount Power Universal Vehicle Mount for myself some time ago as I wanted to mount my cell in an easy to reach location for a quick view at stoplights. The product plugs into the cigarette lighter outlet and, while I do not use the charging cable as I have a battery case, the product keeps the cell securely in place quite well. A family member noticed it and I bought the same product for her. She uses it as advertised to mount and charge her iPhone and loves it. Best product on the market!

I purchased two other products for making this purchase and this by far is the best for hands-free. It's flexible design allows you to move your phone and the number of positions depending on the location of your outlet.

Great if you want a usb charger. The magnetic mount is strong but the port will just swivel until it's either dangling there or caught on something. I was trying to not have a windshield mount but I waisted my money.

i love the product--i can mount the phone easily with the magnet and hook up the charger in the base so i never lose power!

I bought this at Best Buy a couple of years ago after I had tried a different product that didn't fit well in placement. I recently bought another for my dad because he liked it so much on a long road trip he took. I love that the neck on the mount is adjustable and my phone charges super quick on the mount! The only downfall is that you can only use the magnetic pads once, so if you change your phone case often you'll have to purchase additional magnetic pads.

The mount has a strong magnet, so your phone won’t fall off while driving, however it is a little tight to plug in so it tends not to charge unless you jam it all the way into the port

I have purchased half a dozen holders... this one is the best so far in comparison to the ones that attach to the vents. And definitely do not want to stick anything directly onto the interior...

i have an iPhone 7 plus and i have spent tons of money and time finding a car charger that can hold my large phone with it's case. This Magic Mount was perfect because all you do is attach the magnets to the back of your phone or it's case and you are done. It attaches via the magnets so size does not matter!!! I was worried the magnets would not be strong enough, but i hit a pothole pretty hard and the phone remained on the mount. So it works great!

I really like this mount. It is flexible enough to bend it how you want but not so much as to droop. The only drawback is the is it looses electrical contact as the metal button is too short.

This is the most optimal auto accessory to hold your phone or iPod touch. It looks great and doesn't take away from the simplicity of your cars interior. I love the feel of it too. Soft.
