This mount is pretty good, the circle helps it from sliding down with the weight of the phone. I’m making the next of it. It does block the vent and the circle while it helps hold the mount up also doesn’t allow for me to raise the vent tab so the heat/ ac blows down. I believe the problem is with my truck can design that doesn’t allow for a “normal” or typical mounting location for a phone holder. This one works better than the obtrusive kind that mount to the windshield and hang down like an Uber driver might have. Perhaps a light phone would work better so it would slide down. The magnet however is really strong but the design lets me remove my phone w/o pulling the whole mount out of the vent.

I am using this mount with a Note 9. This mount is a good option because every car is different. The swivel arm is awesome because the location of my vents is really close to my steering wheel, so with most mounts it is hard to see my screen while driving. With this mount, I can swivel the arm and angle it out at a degree that is comfortable and visible. I've seen some reviews where people complain about it not fitting their vents...well if you look at the clip you have two options. One is a tighter fit than the other. They give you that option because again...every car is different.

Installation was easy. The phone connects to the holder easy but at one point all of it fell including the holder. I’m not sure if we are not able to push it in well. Not happen Again since then But we have not used it much lately due to stay home order. Not driving as much.

I needed a magnetic mount to hold my phone in a Ford truck and - other than the windshield - the obvious solution was a vent mount. This unit does not come off the vent, abd the magnet holds the phone, but the rubber vent mount causes the phone to shake quite a bit.

The teeth that are supposed to grab onto the vent grates are not long enough. Hard bumps make the whole thing slide out like previous reviews indicated. I should've taken heed but had to find out myself.

Exactly what I was looking for, and a great price! Attaches easily and securely to vent, articulates to desired position away from direct flow, and magnet works great for no frills grab and go!

The magnetic holder is great, grip your phone easily, and secure. You can choose the most convenient angle to install your phone. The unique detail is the vent clip is not secure, sometimes it can fall from the ventilation grid.

It does the job and the magnet does holds my phone well, but the plastic that attaches to my vent wobbles and makes me a bit worried that it will drop my phone altogether. This hasn't happened, so I am giving it 4 stars.

My previous magnetic holder for my cell phone was the type that mounted on the vent. Anytime I used the A/C or heater for any extended period of time I always had to remove my phone because it would block the airflow and the phone would become really cold or really hot. This MagicMOUNT alleviates that problem and allows the my phone to be well out of the range of my vents airflow. It was easy to mount and adjust. It holds my iPhone perfectly in place while driving.

magnet is strong great for the car. Does not block the air which is exactly what I was looking for.

I bought this one because the last one I got didn't have a strong enough magnet and clamp that either the phone falls or the clamp disengages on a street bump. 5 star on the clamp as it can hold on most if not all potholes. The magnet though is a 4 star. Better than the one I had but could be better as my phone still fell once. I wonder how long the magnet will last.

phone magnets are strong but only if you put on the outside of the case. the mount falls off the vent regularly.

This is one of the best car mounts ever! Once you install it in your car, just put your phone on the magnetic part of the mount and it sticks. Look at your phone from many, many different angles. I bought it on sale which makes this purchase even better!

I purchase this as I need something I could maneuver in different directions. This mount moves well and holds well. The only issue I have is when I remove the phone sometimes it comes off the vent. Other than that, while mounted it holds very well. I do recommend it.

I own several Scosche magent holders. Purchased this for the swivel factor. Seems like a good product works well. The vent grips are pretty strong. They are strong enough to bend the vents if you are not careful!

The powerful magnet holds your phone and my phone is in a case. The magnet head is adjustable. Unfortunately, the arm of holder doesn't adjust. Overall, it's still is a great product and I am glad I purchased it.

On the freeway (aka expressway) the unit held phone fairly well even with the metal plate between phone and thin case. After applying the metal plate to the outside of the case it did hold on smooth roadways. Once I got onto some back roads in a sports car either the phone would fall off or the whole mount would fall off. So not so great for a sports car or probably not a Jeep but would be suitable for a more luxury car.

Was looking for a good car phone mount that was easy to use and stabile. This one fit the bill. Was so pleased with it that I ordered another one right away.
