This review is for the SCREAM (2022) 4K UHD + BLU-RAY + DIGITAL Best Buy Exclusive Steelbook. The Film: The fifth entry in the popular "SCREAM" franchise takes place 25 years after the original murders in Woodsboro ("Scream - 1996") and is the first to be helmed by new directors since the passing of the late great Wes Craven. This newest entry sets up the "passing of the torch," so to speak, allowing new generation horror fans to appreciate the same and new bloodline of a film that truly was a pop culture phenomenon of the 90's. The movie does well with making fun of itself...calling itself a "requel" - a mix of a "remake" and "sequel". Franchise legends David Arquette, Neve Campbell and Courtney Cox return as Dewey, Sidney & Gale and do a phenomenal job for the short screen time they have (unfortunately), and the new kids are good. Maybe I'm just showing my age here, but these kids don't seem to share the same passion as the OG groups from SCREAM 1, 2 or even 3. But, it works. To me, it felt about as good as a "SCREAM 5" would've been...and maybe that's what it should've been titled. Worth buying? Yes... especially if you're a horror fan. The Steelbook: The steelbook art is awesome, featuring the original teaser poster art of "Scream" (2022). Nice matte-looking reflecting finish with Ghostface's mask front and center, arming himself with the classic Buck 120 knife with a light red stain at the bottom. The back features the UK teaser art, showcasing Ghostface in front of an atmospheric bright light which surrounds him making his very iconic 'Im about to come for you" pose. Inside we have character poses, used with the marketing campaign, each holding the mask in front of, or below, or to the side. Very cool artwork. Included is the 4K UHD, regular Blu-Ray and 4K Digital code, redeemable at VUDU or iTunes. **Worth noting: I noticed that regular retail packages had either one or the other as far as format. Not good on Paramount's part... that's another reason why this steelbook was cool, as it has both the 4K disc and Blu-Ray disc. Regular packages only had single discs...4K or Blu-Ray or DVD. Blu-Rays come with HD Digital codes, 4Ks come with UHD digital codes. For the price tag, you should get both imo. Other than that, I recommend "SCREAM" (2022), especially that steelbook.

Best buy is getting better about shipping steelbooks in a box. Not sure what this other reviewer is claiming but mine had both a 4k uhd and blu ray disc, digital code as well

I was very entertained of this movie. A surprisingly good reboot sequel movie. Good and bloody kills. Decent story and the twist was alright. Kinda saw who it was but it was good still. And the Steelbook is pretty cool.

Really happy with my steelbook when it arrived, not a single scratch and damage! No lose disc’s! Looks really nice and clean!

Love this steelbook. It looks amazing as well as the art inside the steelbook with all the characters holding the ghost face mask next to their face.

The Steelbook was in excellent condition just got a little scratch on the back of the steelbook right in the middle, but overall was in great condition. The movie itself was great i loved it!!

Better than the previous films, I like the fact that it went back to its roots, some nostalgia for sure, and dark secrets getting revealed.

Scream 2022 was a definite great surprise entry into the classic franchise!

A good movie, a fifth installment of the franchise, the simple but effective art steelbook

I ordered this online and of course it came damaged as usal with every steelbook i order. It like best buy dont even look at what they are packing to be sent out. The shipping box was fine so that means this was like this from the time it got sent out. The bottom of the steel book is completely creased across the bottom of it.... come on best buy look at what your sending out. This is the 3rd steelbook ive received damaged. These arent your normal 15 doller movies,with tax and shipping they are alomost 40 dollars. If you would like I could come to your shipping department and show these people how to ship a inspect what they are sending out. I mean it doesn't take a rocket scientist to do so. But it seems like some better brains are needed for this dept. I would not recommend this for shipping.

This movie is awesome, however quality control for this steelbook was not. I was taken aback with how damaged this 4K was after opening it only to find the front and back covers were snapped apart from each other and the metal spine fell off very easily, for the adhesive was not very strong at all, not to mention how dented in the front cover really was. At first I thought maybe this was a shipping issue, however that delivery box was PERFECT, so that was ruled out rather quickly. It’s just a big shame for collectors alike that have also had damaged Scream 2022 steelbooks as this item is sold out online, and there are no locations close enough by me that have any. I had to get a standard 4K replacement elsewhere instead…

There's a chip in the paint on the front of the box that was hidden by the cardboard. Clearly a factory defect. Its definitely not best buy's fault because it looks like it happened before it even got packaged

I had to add another Scream 4K Steelbook to my ever growing collection so I made this purchase, and I’m so incredibly happy I did! From behind the scenes footage to director commentaries, Scream (2022) is a masterful installment to the franchise! Scream Fans you better not miss out on owning this one.
