Seagate, man I will probably continue with the solid trust in THIS BRAND because I have purchased six various drives and every single purchase is still 100% fully functional and no bad sectors!!! Even after sitting in a powered case with a WD drive that shorted out just above this very drive! My red harness was not included in the products default packaging and or presentation

Bought this for my ps4, went from 500 gig to 2T perfect fit. No issues, now i have all the memory I need.

Bought this for my Batman Arkham Knight PS4, because it was only 500 gigs. This is a great way to maximize the storage capacity, I still buy physical games but the installs are massive so this helps out a lot. I actually have another 2 TB drive on my 1st PS4 but this was cheaper in the end and I just picked it up at the store. You don't get the full 2 terabytes but that's the way it is with hard drives, I still have 1.7 gigs available which should last me a lifetime.

This is a fantastic internal harddrive for my laptop. My laptop came with only a 1 TB harddrive in addition to a 250 gb SSD (the OS is on the SSD). This was pretty much the only option that Alienware would give (really, Alienware? If I'm spending $3000-$4000, how about something better than a 1 TB 5200 rpm internal harddrive, ok????). Installation was a breeze (this will depend on your laptop, of course). Before installing it, I put it into an external enclosure and formatted it and backed up stuff on it, so that when I installed it in my laptop and booted things up, it was good to go. Not a bad way to do that, at all, in my opinion. This harddrive is very fast and just about the biggest capacity that you can get for a laptop without needing a larger bay for Toshiba's 3 TB variety.

If you are looking for a good hard drive to upgrade your PS4 look no further, this is the one you need (5400RPM is recommended, and the drive needs to be 2.5 inch) When I purchased my PS4 when it first came out, the unit that came in my PlayStation 4 500GB Best Buy Bundle. At the time I thought it was too much and that I would never see the day I'd run out of space. Well, after downloading all kinds of things from the PSNetwork (videos, dlc, games) the day finally came several months ago. I backed up as many things as I could on external drives but dlc and game installs kept using disk space until I was left with about 3 free gigs. With the price of the drives compared to a new PS4 it was a difficult decision, especially since there was a 1TB Hybrid SD HD that I was thinking of purchasing. After some research on the size of the drives, maximum capacity of the PS4 and other related topics, I ended up finding this drive in Amazon. After reading some of the reviews here I decided I would go for the 2TB drive. While I was researching on the web, I found a lot of different stories and assumptions on whether or not the fat PS4 was capable of handling a 2TB drive as well as some reports indicated formatting the drive would take between 14 to 60 hours! So this is how it went for me: I backed up the PS4 data using the Backup feature under System Tools, it took about an hour and a half to backup a little over 60 gigs. Removing the hard drive and replacing it could not have been easier (I struggled a little finding the right screwdriver though) and it took about less than 5 minutes; there are plenty of videos available in you tube that tell you how to do this. Once replaced, I started the PS4 and it immediately asked me to format the drive (I installed the drive out of the box), it literally took less than a minute to format a 2TB drive! After that, I went to system tools and restored my backup from my external drive, another hour and a half. So, as another reviewer confirmed, it took less than four hours to upgrade both hardware and software. Results so far have been great, I immediately started downloading more games and demos, space is no longer an issue! (for now, I guess) The PS4 does recognize the 2TB capacity as opposed as to what many websites indicated. For those concerned about the brand I would suggest you play it safe and go with Seagate, the original 500 gig drive I removed from my PS4 was a Seagate as well, no issues whatsoever in the four years I used it! Another happy upgrade! Hopefully there will be 3 or 4TB drives in the near future then it will be another happy upgrade!

Replaced my 750gig hard drive with this 2TB Seagate in my Toshiba Laptop SATELLITE P775-S7215. The original drive worked fine, just need more space. Used Acronis backup software which came with my Western Digital 3TB USB drive to back up, making a complete image. Also made a bootable Acronis DVD (you need this). Swapped hard drives, booted with the Acronis DVD I made and followed the prompts. The backup came off my WD 3TB USB drive and went right on the unformatted 2TB Seagate drive flawlessly. Acronis software also gets a 10. The first reboot was a bit slow must have had some stuff going on the the background, after that all normal. The system is a true copy of everything. It was a seamless migration to the larder drive, all programs there. Drive seems to be a little faster than what it replaced. The data transfer took about 2 hours.

Hard drive has LOTS of room for my PS4 games. Been using it for a couple months without any problems at all. Easy to install and very good price for the storage. Very happy with my purchase and I'd recommend this to anyone who needs more space for their PS4 :)

Since I purchased a 500GB PS4, when i tried installing CODBO I run out of space. for the price I paid for this HDDs is totally a great buy. and it only takes about 10 minutes to install it to the PS4

I ran out of space on my 1TB laptop drive, so I found this 2TB drive at Best Buy. The price was good, and with my reward dollars, it was a real bargain. Seagate has always been my choice for disk drives and this one did not disappoint.

Got an small SSD as a fast primary OS drive, but needed space for files. Out came the optical drive, replaced by this 2 TB internal laptop drive. I now have speed and space. New life for a slightly older laptop

Lots of space for ps4 and so far its been working great no lags or any problems, can be a little noisy m, i only notice noise when volume low or games or movies are on pause

This is a great product for those looking to upgrade their PS4's internal HDD. The Seagate - 2TB is ideal for those who download digitally or just need more storage. It was incredibly easy to install in my PS4 and is whisper quiet when running. The HDD does cut down on game load times as well...minimally.

I bought this to upgrade my PS4 HDD. I must say it is amazing, and super easy to install. I think it even sped up the boot time as well. I would definitely recommend.

We purchased this product because my husband ran out of memory on his PS4. I knew a little about how to swap the hard drive but never actually tried to before. When we went to look for the item, the first few associates could not help us. Finally, we found a very knowledgeable associate who was able to help me find the correct hard drive and walk me through how to change it! The product was the last one at the store and the packaging had obviously been opened before but he assured me the product had not been tampered with and was correct. I was able to install the hard drive that evening with no problems.

My ps4 hard drive needed replacing to give me more space. I replaced the original ps4 hard drive with this 1Tb. This works so much better and was easy to replace

I did a lot of research before buying this product. I bought and used it to replace my PS4's original 500 GB hard drive. Replacing the smaller hard drive with this product was relatively easy once I looked up how to do it. This product has a LOT of space and does good work. Very satisfied.

I picked up this 2tb HDD to replace the stock 500 gig HDD in the PS4. Had a little bit of an issue getting it to work properly with all my games but took some time to back up all my save files from my other HDD so I could transfer them to the new one once installed. Once I installed the update it booted up no problem and was able to download every game I own which was over a Terabyte in data and around 60 games. After that I noticed the games were downloaded and the updates but it was locking me out of certain parts of the game. To fix that I just put the PS4 in safe mode again and there's an option that lets you reaccept all the terms and agreements for all you're games which was why it was locking me out. Now everything works amazing and I still have a full terabyte of space left so I'm looking forward to not having to worry about deleting games just to make room for dlcs anymore. For $91 you can't go wrong with this it works just like the original just four times the memory.

I purchased this HDD for my PS4. I previously put a Seagate 1TB in it but decided that for the price I should go ahead and get the 2TB. Swapped the drives without a problem and put the 1TB HDD in my PS3. Great Buy!!
