Plug and Play installation - super easy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The hard drive in my HP desktop (an a850y purchased in 2005) just died, so I chose to replace the HDD rather than get a new computer. I installed this HDD in about 10 minutes, powered up, dropped in my OS disc, and I was good to go in about 20 minutes. Significantly faster and quieter than my old 5400 RPM hard drive. Would recommend this to anyone who need to replace a desktop HDD.

Perfect Replacement HD for Win 7 Desktop

Started from scratch with the Win 7 install, drivers, Norton AV and Firewall, MS Office Pro and Explorer then went thru countless auto updates. (the owner only wants to turn it on and do nothing else) The HD performed without a hitch, and the machine is now running like new.

Simple hook-up, Plenty of storage

It works the way it should, with plenty of storage for the price from a representable maker. Word to the wise....keep your DVR in a completely open area.....or the HD will cook it's self.

Had just backed up system before hard drive loss.

Everything was designed to fit right in place. I once lost a hard drive on another system and it was a night mare. This time it was more like a good dream and I actually ended up feeling like I had a new system that was stronger than before. Such a positive experience.
