Older versions of this size of external hard drive were big and bulky. I love that this is slim and sleek, as it goes with us when we travel for work. Great price, PC finds this instantly and no weird and scary additional paperwork or registration setup necessary.

bought this to back up my work computer a couple of months ago. it works great so far, no noticeable flaws. easy to set up, easy to use, easy (and fast) to back up. i don't know how much of a deal it is in price comparison to similar devices, but i'm very pleased with this one.

Product is easy to use for my backup needs. The 1TB of space is plenty for now.

I have purchased many My Passport drives over the years. They have always been reliable. I took advantage of a good sale on this one, which I have attached to my D-Link DIR-868L router, using it as a file server No issues in months of use. It just performs great.

The disk is used to store photos, ample storage space and very easy to use.

I hate the quality of mp3 files and have captured most of my vast music collection in FLAC files. Even with albums taking up as much as 400mb, I find that i can store plenty of music on these external drives and I have yet to have a Seagate drive cause me any problems whatsoever. I have had cloud service go out of contact and sound terrible. I have also had ITunes replace valuable recordings with something that clearly was not a "match." So I don't feel that a drive that is a little more than half the size of a traditional cd case is much of an inconvenience - especially when weighed against having no real control over my valuable music collection! I am also a musician and I am far more comfortable backing up my masters, samples and DAW program data on something tangible and physically in my possession. This is my third drive and I am sure I'll buy plenty more as I archive more music and movies.

The ease of use of this backup was incredible and a great value as well.

My lacie hard drive decided to be a piece of junk and start messing up so I decided to buy a new external hard drive and purchased this one, was able to transfer all of my stuff over from my lacie to this one and haven't had any issues with this one yet!

Very easy to backup any device. Good for saving pictures,video and music.

This is definitely a must have for someone who likes to take photos or record videos. I don't have to worry about creaking my computer with the hundreds of files. Plus being a new photographer, I'm constantly taking photos, so storage was very important to me.

Easy to buy, use & go with this - just plugged in and it started right up, no real directions needed, light, small and just awesome on the run use.

The Seagate external hard drive is small in size and holds a surprisingly large amount of information that anyone would want to back up against loss. I bought it for my pictures so I wouldn't have to store them on my computer. I started downloading albums and thought I was filling the Seagate but when I checked it was only 3% filled. I have now saved my photos in case of any crash or problem with my computer and since it holds so much information I will be adding other files!

This drive reliable and easy to use. I am using it for Windows Backups

I needed a USB drive fast, and I only had 15min before the store closed. I ran up to BestBuy, found the Seagate drive and was pleased to find it was a lot cheaper than I saw on the web. Works great.
