I purchased this unit when it went on sale for super cheap. In my 360 days I bought mainly discs. Now the digital download is king. With this 4TB external, you can hold tons of 360 games and dozens of Xbox One games without worry of ever needing to delete something for a very long time.

Hard Drive works like a charm! I've read on other sites that some people were able to use this on their PS4, but all I did was format it on the PS4. Perhaps they didn't do that. Keep in mind that this uses an AC adapter and is not powered via USB. Great product! Happy with it!

Extremely quiet, fast hard drive. I would prefer that it had an activity light on the front.

Recently suffered a computer failure. Fortunately I was able to get all my data back, but brought home the importance of backing up everything I have saved. More than one external drive and an offsite service. This hard drive is large enough with great interface.

I bought this when it was on Deal of the Day for around 75 bucks. It was a really for good deal. I bought it for extra memory for my ps4 and it works great. The one thing that is not so great is you have to plug it into a power outlet. Other than that it's great

So far so good the drive is quite fast with read/write. I copied 1TB of data to the drive and it took roughly less than 10 minutes or so...I want to say 7 or 8 minutes. I wasn't actually timing it. The reason for the 4 stars is because I HATE that this drive is supposed to be 4TB but it's really only 3.65TB. Why don't they just sale it at 3.65TB instead of 4TB?! I paid for 4TB I should get 4TB!

Hooked it up to another Seagate USB 3 backup drive. Works fine. I like my other drive slighlty better because it has two powered USB 3 inputs available. Makes it a little more versatile, but I paid extra for the versatility.

Easy to setup up. No problems so far, speed seems pretty good.

I got the 4TB model for $70, which is a great price. Only con so far is that it is pretty big. But it isnt meant to be a portable HDD, rather just an external, so not really an issue. (Im comparing it to a 2TB Seagate slim backup plus, which is very slim, but meant to be a portable) Would by again at the price.

This is a great basic drive, with no frills. The only thing I would like to see is an Drive Indicator Light, so I know when it is working. I have transferred nearly 3 TB of files onto the drive, and had no failures. This is an archive drive, so when I need to re-load a project, we will see how well it works.

This external hard drive is excellent. USB 3.0 made it take less time to back up a couple of external drives that needed a safety net just in case. Photos and video. It's a great drive.

I have purchased several Seagate hard drives and I have yet to have a problem. A truly great time saver investment. The HHD is pretty fast . You won't regret buying this hard drive.

I haven't backed up my computer in forever, and after a recent virus which the Geek Squad removed, I was looking for a hard drive to back up my computer, and this was a great price

Being a photographer means having a great need for storage space for all my photos. This drive is perfect for my needs. I drop all of my 18mb photo files on this drive then have it backup to the cloud at the same time. The speed is good and thus far I have had zero issues. Greatly appreciate this drive for making my life easier and giving me a peace of mind knowing my files are safe and not stored on my PC.

This drive has worked great for me so far. It has provided plenty of storage space and hasn't given me any issues. I am very happy with this drive for the price.

Needed extra storage for my wife's photographs and our music. This item works perfectly for that. More storage than we will need for some time to come!

The 4 TB size provides room for all my projects and saved material. Backups run well. It can sit behind the monitor and not take up valuable desk space.

I bought these on a good deal, definitely worth it especially if you have tons of photos on your computer and need to back it up for safe keeping.

I went looking for an external HD that I could use with my home network. I found this Seagate 4TB unit for $80 +S&H. It has worked out perfectly.

Awesome, this thing is what I'm using right now as my media server drive. It doesn't sound, its fast, and the best part it looks awesome!
