I am not very happy with this purchase: the included software did not allow the creation of a hard drive image; I had to invest additional $39.95 for the proper software from Acronis, which by the way is sponsored by Seagate; what a rip off. Other than that, the drive was easy to install and it appears to backup data correctly. Once I installed the Acronis module, the hard drive image is being created as well. My previous Western Digital My Book ran out of capacity which is the reason I decided to go with the Seagate; bad choice.

Love this external hard drive. Helps me keep everything organized,safe and portable. Very sleek look too. Easy to set up.

I think we are all now wary of keeping our information in the cloud' with all the hacking going on. So I purchased this external hard drive. The setup was so simple a monkey could do it. Goodbye cloud, hello Seagate!

This is a great drive. Well built, USB 3.0 connectivity. I imagine I will be using this drive for a long time. I would recommend this to others and will probably purchase additional drives in the near future!

I would like a little better explanation of exactly how to set up the Seagate and to coordinate it with the way I use my computer. I believe the Geek Squad did set it up according to my preferences, but I didn't get any of this in writing, which would be very helpful.

No fuss tech. Dashboard software and cell phone data wireless backup super. Swapped out western digital my passport drives and replaced with seagate drives

I'm still trying to build a system for my files. This will work and satisfied my requirements. Great for an apple computer. It could be dual purpose but wasn't made for that. No complaints here
