Seagate-backup plus 2tb eternal usb 3.0/2.0 hard drive is the first hard drive i have bough. I went to best buy store got help right away, he asked me what I was looking for and how I was going to use it. he took me to the right spot, showed me the options. the hard drive he though would be best was on sale. he was right good product at a very good price.

I bought this to free up storage on my Mac. I'm a newbie photographer and needed more space. I can store and retrieve no problem.

My son bought it for a camera class at college, and you plug it in to the computer and it was user-friendly and did what he needed

Great little usb hard drive. Plug it in and away you go on you Apple computer. I store LOTS of music here and real convenient. Very compact and quite. Love it. I also use the 1tb as my time machine back up that srays plugged in all the time. Had it for a couple years now and it just works. Same for the 2tb version, every time i go to use it, it just works. Thats all i need. Simlpe compact durable.

I was able to back up 3 computers and still have a boat load of space left. I now have total piece of mind if any of my computers die on me and I will not loose any of my pictures.

I purchased this to free up space on my DISH DVR by backing up my shows to this external hard drive. It's very easy to set up. Quiet. No humming or buzzing sounds when transferring data. Very fast, and plays back clear. Nice size, not big or bulky. Quite sleek looking, I would even go as far as saying "elegant'. Blends in nicely with all decor.

Great value for the price. No problems. No issues. Everything is working great. I didnt want to spend too much on storage and this model hit a sweet spot for a good brand.

When my old computer crashed, I needed a large hard drive to store my music. This drive is great because I can save thousands of albums and yet I paid very little for it.

This portable hard drive is perfect for backing up a mac book. It works efficiently when plugged in and can hold plenty of information so that you need not worry about your computer crashing and you losing everything. The first backup will take several hours but after that just a few minutes each time you plug it in. It is super compact so you can stash it in any drawer. works well.

I bought this to back up my computer because I almost lost all of my data on my computer (it was thankfully saved) but this was easy to set up and a great purchase.

I use it for my Xbox One. Since you cant keep alot on the internal hard drive, i got that in 2TB's. Very high speeds with this, dare I say even faster then the internal.

This Hard Drive installs easily and perfectly then backs up any data you consider important enough (to you) to protect even in the event of calamities unforeseen.

I don't have very good luck with external hard drives, Had at least two fail on me in the past, this one is still spinning for me, so I have nothing to complain about.

I needed a back up HD for my satellite receiver and this was the perfect size and price. 2T is more than I will ever need but for the price I couldn't pass it by.

As far as I can tell this is good. I'm yet to test the reliability just because I haven't hadn't it for over a year but it's nice looking, quiet and fast. I chose this over Western Digital just from research I did.

It was very easy to setup and I feel very confident about not losing any information if my computer should crash.

I bought this because I needed more room for backups on my macbook and this baby is quick!! It backed up nearly 200GB's of info on my mac in about 45 minutes. Definitely the best bang for your buck, minus paying out the nose for an SSD. I actually returned a western digital I purchased that didn't seem to function properly so I'm glad I did! I'm very happy with this purchase

This product was easy to set up and works perfect with both my Macs. I was able to use it to transfer all my old computer to my new computer.

I would recommend this product to a friend. It's very easy to use - just plug it in and the product does the rest.
