Great storage. Very easy to set up and transfer everything from computer onto hard drive

I have a mac and I had to reconfigure the partitions to 1 single partition, but you need to know how to do that. You don't expect to have to do this if it says "mac compatible". It would confuse someone who does not understand this. Other than that, it works just fine. I will see in the future how it holds up. I do this all the time as I am an editor, but a regular user may not understand how to make it user friendly.

I bought a pair of these to archive all my files from many many old drives ranging from 120gb to 750gb. I wanted to get everything in one place so I could get rid of my various collection of drives. I've had good experience with Seagate drives over the years. I learned the hard way to always have at least one backup of a drive. That's why I always buy them in pairs now and make them copies of each other.

Worked as expected, and loads a bit faster than what I thought. Was very pleased with the match price done against Amazon ( which is nother reason why I but at Best Buy! ) Great product.

I use it for work and it is very helpful to me. Ir holds enough amount of information. It is very compatible with the systems that I have at work. I work for dell and use this product to save my data.

Needed a back up and this hdd has the size and look I wanted. Sleek design, can be easily hidden among a book self or desk with out a notice. Priced just right and Best Buy had the lowest price.

This unit is attached to our router and partitioned to provide BU storage for our Mac's. It is easy to configure and fast to respond. I am considering buying two for our office.

I needed a drive with lots of room for images, backups etc. I have always trusted Seagate drives. I'm very happy with my choice. Very quick and responsive. Works flawlessly.

A fast reliable harddrive. Easy to use, easy to set up as a backup drive and overall no complaints. It's not portable as its big and corded but as a stationary backup drive it's great. It runs a bit warm but so far that's not a problem.

Use for nightly backups. Plenty or Room for backups. Quiet. Good deal. Also good to keep a backup of all the (unedited) photos I take.

You won't know until you've had it for a few years but so far so good.

Easy to use and got it at a great price compared to other places

This is my second Seagate External hard drive. They are dependable with a very good transfer rate. I alternate the backup of all my computers between these 2 drives. They my be dependable but with all information being digital 2 external hard drives are better than one.
