    this is my third, in use seagate external hard drive. My first is 1tb and 4+ years old and always in use. The backup plus goes back and forth to school with me and is also in use daily and the 3rd is a 4TB that backsup my photos from school. I am very pleased with my seagates.

    This is a good hard drive to use for storage, but it does lose connectivity once in a while. But that's as simple as resetting the usb cable.

    I bought this to expand the space for my xbox one. It formatted quick and easy. Only qualm is the guy in the store said it was usb powered, but of course I should have known better. It needs external power. I've had no issues so far with this drive.

    I was looking for another hard drive storage device and I am always drawn to the Seagate products because of their reliability and being on the cutting edge. I got a great deal on this drive and it will be used to feed pictures and music to my flat screen smart TV.

    Bought this device to replace an older 3TB drive that just stopped working. Now my movie collection can grow! Using PLEX with my home theater, this drive is now the primary drive for my movies.

    One thing that made me decide to make this purchase was it's look. It was a simple design, and therefore seemed very easy to transport with me wherever I went! It has not disappointed me! It not only looks great, it IS a great product!
