My Xbox One Console has 1 TB and now that I have purchased this I have a total of 5TB which should hold me down for awhile. It works great and has no problem out of it. I am a satisfied customer.

Great for new computer but not old

Large amount of storage for my photog business

It indicates that it is compatible with PC and Mac but it took some work to figure out how to make it work with Mac. After several hours and much frustration, I finally discovered that the free recovery software was the problem - it had changed all of the permissions for the Seagate hard drive to "read only." That meant I couldn't copy and save any docs or files from my computer to the hard drive. Once I deleted the free recovery software and made sure I had my permissions set to read and write again, all worked as intended. If you are an Apple fan, skip the free recovery program! The manufacturer should remedy this problem by providing recovery software compatible with Mac as well as PC and allowing you to select which one to install.

4 TB for media server TV series

Got a 4TB internal for the media server machine, and this 4 TB Seagate external to put on the ripping computer as a TV series file backup.
