These seem to work best

Buy 2 but only use one and keep the other as your back up unplugged and in the box. Whenever you aren't using your main one then unplug that one and it will last longer. 3 yrs is the normal life of the HD but keep it baked up to a 2nd HD that way you don't have to use a cloud .

My only issue was the data transfer was slow

Does what a external usb 3.0 hard drive does

Data transfer rates appear to be consistent with advertised speeds. No issues to date with any aspects after a couple months of ownership

Great Hard Drive

I use another manufactures hard drive as a secondary back up source. Have always counted on these drives and they do the job.

Good backup device

The Geek Squad spet over 8 hrs trying to install the interface page,using Segat support as well. The failure to make the interface install and work is dissapointing, however backups are accomplished using Windows backup.

Great for backing up pictures.

So far it is working great. It installed itself with my just inserting the CD and following directions. It seems to have plenty of space to handle what I have now and for a while in the future.

Software makes it easy to back up what you want, when you want. And with additional drives you can even backup your backups. You can never be too safe when it comes to your digital life.

Great buy for the price
