very disappointed in this product. went out on me twice after only three weeks of owning it. had to unplug unit from wall and wait a couple of minutes before plugging back into wall to get it to restart and it is so slow to adapt to windows 10.

Back up all my data!!!! Lots of storage!!! Love it

Good for a backup location that is portable enough to easily take offsite.

I had some concerns about getting reliable system and the Best Buy representative clearly explained different options. My wife already uses this system and added her endorsement.

I did comparisons on Best Buy Online website. This product stood out for quality I wanted, capacity I needed, and price I was able to justify. Brought it back to my office, plugged it in to my desktop computer, and have had nothing but great things to say about the product and software.

Seemed to be a good backup drive but only lasted 3 years. Pretty pathetic. I have a WB My Passport that has lasted over 6.5 years with no problem. Not sure I'll be buying Seagate anymore.

Love this drive!! It is really fast! Storing and removing data is a breeze to do. It self installed to my laptop. Best of all it lays down instead of standing up no tipping over yaaay!! Buy one you won't be disappointed.

No issues with setup. Quick and easy. Hardly know that it is there and serves to backup my main drives. I used their included software, which has been working fine.

I tried endlessly to hook it up to my Mac and failed

I bought this drive to supplement another drive i've been using for storage, its running as a software raid device. So far its been great, not too warm, and plenty fast. I would Definitely Recommend

Using it in USB 2.0 mode and it seems to have faster transfer rates than a older smaller drive I had been using. Installed only a month ago, but have no negatives to say about it.

I bought four of these. Excellent performing hard drive. I farmed out all four drives to create a raid array. Its cheaper to buy these drives than to buy the bare drives.

This is a great and easy set up for extra space for your Xbox One gaming console. I plugged everything in, connected it to the Xbox and was able to transfer all my data over in a breeze.

excellent item had a problem with first one being recognized on my network so exchanged it at best buy store. Staff was pleasant and helpful....took home drive and worked no problem.

This Drive is all that and a bag of chips. Performs fast as it should being a USB 3.0 Drive. Outperforms my USB 2.0 drive hands down, not even close. Great investment, would do again.

It does what I bought it for. I wanted to move all my files from my computer to an external hard drive to keep my computer running faster. My computer is running faster and better.

I switched to a Seagate because my backup hard drive of another brand all of a sudden quit working after only several years of use. So far I am happy with this one.

I thought it was a great idea that I could transfer all my cell phone pictures and *everything* to this hard drive wirelessly. But once I transferred everything, I realized to view my pictures on the hard drive I had to weed through endless folders because it transfers it exactly like it is on your phone. Make sense? In other words, there wasn't a nice clean folder marked "Pictures" you could click on, but instead you had to go deep into the roots of folder hell to find anything. This also means it transferred every single file and folder on your phone. It looked like a huge mess to me. Got a WD Book and now I just Drag and Drop. Easiest system for my needs.

It's just a normal harddrive used with Mac. I wish it worked with the Mac time-machine though- would make life simpler.

The usb on the back was not soldered well an d snapped off fortunately I had a spare hard drive case or I would've had to return will all my data on drive most of which was downloaded games for my one would've taken forever to redownload so I bit the bullet and swapped the drive to the other case. also Seagate will not replace just the case only the whole unit.
