Not much to say about this product, works as expected, easy to use, and would recommend to anyone looking for extra space.

Solid reliable drive at a great price. I've been using the Seagates for a while now and am very happy with their reliability.

When looking at this product compared to others that I was reviewing I found that I wanted a physical backup instead of an all cloud backup. I liked this product for the portability. Though getting the mobile app connected with my seagate was tricky and didn't auto connect and had to wipe my hard drive I order to get it to sync. It works great so if you are using the mobile backup I would make sure that nothing is on the hard drive in case you need to reformat the drive to get it synced. I haven't had any issues since the beginning of the setup and it work perfectly for what I wanted to backup with my media and content.

Wanted to buy a new external hard drive for my computer. Wanted a new 3.0 hard drive. This works great and is really fast.

I would totally recommend this to anyone who is looking for a memory expansion.

Bought this as a add on to Xbox one. More than enough space now and it works great.

My wife & I both have rather large Mega Pixel Cameras and now that we are retired and taking lots of pictures my Hard Drive in my PC is filling rapidly. The Seagate - Backup Plus 4TB External Drive is a simple to install source for more room to store our pictures. It doesn't take up a lot of space and is just the thing to have.

Works well with my Mac right out of the box. Easy to set up. Minus one star for the cable that is needed to connect to it. If you loose it, good luck finding a replacement.

Got a new iMac and bought this to add to my flower photography storage needs. Works well like all my other Seagates.

This hard drive is great for all our photo storage. Had this about 2 months. Buy it. You will not be disappointed.

I have three of these. I backup everything with room to spare. Triple redundancy at a great price. Nothing reoccurring. Than they sit on the shelf powered down till I need them. Works great, totally private and who cares if you get ransom ware. Just re-image and be done with it. Highly recommend A++++++

Easy hook up and free 200G One drive space to boot! Quiet fast and also a great expansion drive for Xbox One.

I think 4 TB will do for now. The real reason I bought this drive was to save the 3000+ photos on my iPhone. There was an app for the phone and an interface for the computer. It did a pretty good job. The software succeeded in downloading all my photos but missed 2/3rds of my videos. I'm sure I can copy them to the drive but it would have nice been nice if it had worked as advertised. Worth the money in any case.

I needed more storage space and this worked great. There is tons of room.

This is fantastic as it holds all my video work. And the two year OneDrive sub is a fantastic bonus too!

Back ups until needed seem to make me feel insecure. I guess it's working correctly. Assuming it is, it is great to know data is constantly being backed up

I use it to hold a lot of sports videos that I like to save, and it does hold a lot of video. No problems so far. It is a little heavier than the smaller external drives I have used before. Plus, it needs to be plugged in to operate, not just a USB connection. But for my needs, it's great.

No problems with the hard drive, plenty of storage, have had good luck with both sea gate hard drive.

Son is pleased. This was simple to connect and expanded his memory. No compaints yet. It has only been used a month, so I can''t review the reliability.
