I was fortunate enough to purchase this on sale and for the price, the amount of storage, I have no complaints. I wanted something large enough to grow with me and this certainly should do the trick. I have no problems using the external hard drive, moving it and using it on different computers.

I purchased this after my 1T filled up. As a photographer, I need A LOT of storage space! This has been perfect! The only thing Im not crazy about is that it isn't wireless, but for the size and price it can't be beat!

this works great for xbox one as added storage. i currently have 5 games installed on it and it's only showing 5% full. definitely worth it since these games are taking up >50gb each now. will update if it fails.

Easiest large storage device I have ever had. Used it to back up an entire SharePoint 2016 O365 collection using both Mac & PC. Was not as fast as I had hoped, but I blame the network speed versus the unit itself.

I bought the Seagate 5TB external hard drive two years ago, and it’s still running great! I’ve had no trouble writing or retrieving files ( RAW and JPG photos). You can buy this with confidence!

This holds a lot of data! I have scads of photos and documents stored on it and still have lots of room left over. It's like stacking a few big boxes in the corner of a huge storage building, and not making a dent.

I got this for a great deal on Black Friday. I got it for the purpose to store old photos and projects. It's 5 freaking Terabytes! It does the job, I should be good for a while. It's not very fast for todays standards, but I have faster hard drives for editing. But to store old projects, it's perfect!

I thought my original 750GB External Hard Drive was good. This 5TB is easier to use and less expensive! A must buy

I had the 1 TB seagate HD and i thought that was great, but then I decided to go bigger. This 5 TB HD is amazing in how much storage is available. I use it for my xbox one and I feel like Ill have loads of storage to last a long time. the unit is a bit large but I dont mind it at all. It has its own power cable and a separate usb cable. setting it up was easy and took about 1 minute for the xbox to read and configure it. I would definitely get another one for my computer.

With 5TB of space to store files, it will be a long time before you fill it up. Got this at a good price, so far it has been reliable as I was able to transfer files from other hard drives and have found no issues.

I filled a 2TB Seagate Drive so needed a replacement. This unit, while not as small, isn't that large. Still fits on desk easily. Easy set up but if you have had a previous Seagate device, you need to delete it from your system as this won't download the software as it sees old software and considers it newer version. Once deleted, it was simple upload and off and running. The Lyve software has been discontinued so don't consider that offer in your decision.

Tons of space and very quick. Consolidated 3 smaller external drives into this. Took about 14 hours to move 4.5 tb of data

I attached the drive to an Xbox One for additional storage. Games and apps stored on the drive load quick. It took between 20-30 min to transfer about 40GB.

The hard drive performs well in addition to being nice,sleek and quiet. Maybe the best part is how quickly file transfers complete thanks to the usb 3.0 spec.

I bought this to expand my XBOX ONE HDD space. Great purchase. besides the fact the everyone knows you usually lose about 10% space, the actual HDD available is 4.5TB, still amazing. I plugged it in, Xbox noticed it, went to Settings/System/Manage Storage, Format External HDD (this took about 6-8 seconds before the format was complete) then I was able to move all my games over. Outstanding!

This is the second time I have purchased this drive. I am attaching it to my mac mini and both have been working well.

As a graphic designer, I create large files, and 5TB gives me room to grow. This Seagate drive is a part of my growing collection of hard drives -- for daily use and backups. I'm very pleased with it.

I read a lot of reviews before buying. I saw a lot of people using for the same purpose and everyone is right. This hard drive is the best bang for your buck to add storage on Xbox One. Plug and play
