This is my 4th purchase of this device which is ideal when backing up my computer files, my Xbox One Games & data. I highly recommend this device.

The ratings were very high and had enough room for several computers. It was easy to set up and get peace of mind for our new computer needs.

Exceptional large capacity external hard drive for offline data backups and storage for the price. Performance also extremely exceptible.

Have another brand of external drive, but this has lots of storage with a smaller footprint. Easy set up, used with my Mac with no problem.

For whatever reasons, it is actually cheaper to but a hard drive in an enclosure than it is to buy the same hard drive without the enclosure, so I bought this, took off the external case, and put it in my own case (that has a fan top keep it cool). Have had it about a month now and not a single issue. Hoping it lasts the long haul, but seems worth the risk.

I have several of these drives, I use them for storage purposes. External drives offer larger capacity for less money than is possible with internal drives. A further plus is that these drives are portable, you can attach them to a different computer just by plugging them in. Note that external drives, even USB 3.0 drives like this one, are not the fastest drives available but on the other hand they don't have to be. They are for storage and as such are designed to run a little slower and cooler than internal drives. These are good options for backing up your desktop or laptop computer and saving precious files you might otherwise lose. Recommended.

I purchased this item to expand my storage for my Xbox One. Plug, format and play. Easy to use and I am enjoying the storage space.

This was super easy to set up. I'm using it as an external drive to keep older files on. It was a simple plug and play operation.

I purchased this drive as a backup for my movies, music, and photos. The setup was simple, open the box, plug in the device, and start data transfer! It really was that simple. I was mis-lead on the product description. I assumed that the drive was USB Powered and not powered through an additional Outlet plug. This may have changed my mind on the purchase; but eitherway... the size of the drive was good for the price. It will be used as my main drive until I can find a larger storage device to fit my ultimate need.

Product is a relatively easy to use and affordable. It provides an incredible amount of storage space and takes up little room.

I looked everywhere for the best price on this hard drive and Best Buy had it. It has been flawless so far and set up was simple.

With 5TB of space you can store pretty much everything you want to backup for years. I haven't had it long enough to speak to its longevity but I haven't had any problems with speed or usage.

Our computer's hard drive was getting full, and 750 GB of the problem was my photos. A 5 T external drive was the perfect solution. I have the older photographs copied to DVDs and two external HDs now, so I felt safe deleting them. One drive is connected all the time. Norton 360 backs everything up once a week. I can still easily access old photos and my computer runs more smoothly now there's some spare memory.

Needed more space for storage. Easy to install and easy to use.

kids had to keep deleting games to make room, this hold mega amount, easy hookup, I was thanked a hundred times for this gift

Bought this 5T external hard drive to store my massive collection of audiobooks, as well as backing up my 1T Mac. Working well.

I really like the storage capacity. It is easy to set up and use. Plus, I like the fact you can use it for Windows or Apple PC's.

I've only had it for a little over a month and use it for all my HD movies. It's worth the price for 5tb and is not loud at all.

Quiet, reliable (so far), and a good bargain. I use it as a media server drive (on 24x7x365) and so far so good (only had it about a month). Seagate always seems to work well for me.

This external hard drive works great! It is small and powerful, which is exactly what we were looking for!
