I love seagate. I bought this for my xbox onr for extra storage and another one for my laptop. Never had issues with it, works phenomenally.

I’ve largely used Seagate drives for all my storage needs and have never been disappointed. The built in USB hub is handy. Makes a great media storage and backup drive!

I needed a bigger drive for time machine, this did the trick! I like the look, build and design. Price was good, USB on the front is a bonus, overall it works and I’m happy with my purchase.

With this disk I can save all my games and I can backup all my documents and I do not worry about the space, the speed with which the information runs is very fast, it has not given me problems and it is very functional

Very simple to use. Just plug in and go. Works great. The added USB ports really help. The only draw back is that it's such a large hard drive (8t) that I may need a faster computer to search the files.

I love the affordable price. However, I do not like the requirement to purchase a protection plan. The device is a good size and weight. Has multiple USB ports which is really helpful.

I've bought this external HDD about a month ago on sale for $200 plus tax. I have to say, I am very pleased, it is normal fast, not super fast, I understand the difference between transfering huge files like Full HD movies vs photos, docs, etc. the bigger files have a transfer rate of 180MB/s (yes, thats megabytes per second) but you have to connect this drive to a USB 3.0 port, if you connect it to a USB 2.0 port, you will get 30MB/s max. So, make sure your PC has USB 3.0 and you have the correct drivers to make it run as fast as possible.

Handy as a pocket on a shirt. Now able to daisy chain other drives without a hub.

This drive gives all the storage you could need. Use mine for rendering video from a digital camera. Converting to raw takes lots of space. This drive is fast enough for that over USB 3.

This device holds a lot. I was trying to consolidate a few HD's and this does the trick. The USB 3.0 hub ports are great because I connected my old devices in them and gained a port.

From having multiple external and internal hdds backing up all my stuff to consolidating into one hard drive was time consuming but we'll worth it. What isn't obvious about this external hard drive is how silent it is when not plugged in via USB. Sure it will draw power but nothing would be spinning, not even a platter. Even when plugged into a laptop or PC it spins then goes back to quiet bliss unless your activly using it. No random spinning seeking or arm clicking out of the blue. The integrated USB hub/ports also. Very useful as I was transferring from multiple smaller drives.

Nice external hard drive. Fast enough for my backups. I have not used the hub feature yet. So far, no problems.

I originally went to get a 4TB device to back up all my devices and store them in our safety deposit box. The price was good so instead I got this 8TB drive. Now I can have multiple versions of all back ups. It's easy set up and fast transfer rate made it a great buy.

It's not the fastest backup drive but you can't beat it for sheer bulk storage. The USB 3.0 connectors in the front come in handy as well. You can never have enough USB jacks.

This product has all the space that I will ever need. No need to buy another desktop. It has two USB 3.0 ports. A great product!

Plug-n-play HD. Hooked it up and was able to get full USB 3.0 transfer speed to back up data. Didn't try software that came with it. Can't give it 5 stars yet because I haven't used it long enough.

The Seagate Backup Plus Hub 8tb External Usb 3.0 Desktop Hard Drive has worked very well, both in automatically backing up my hard drive and for additional storage.

I use this to reorganize more than 30,000 family images I have from many years. Oldest is from 1893 when my grandfather was a fireman on a steam engine. As the years went by numerous other family members made snapshots of their activities.it took me 6 years t individually scan each old print or 35mm slide, then or ganizing them by year and adding a note about the pic.

needed this one for my x box collection, got everything stored on the external hard drive and not the internal hard time on the x box. fast and love the usb ports on the front
