This hub offers ways to connect another couple of external hard disk which is a great option with 8TB storage. Working good for more than a year now.

Nice quiet drive offering plenty of storage. Mine spin 24x7 for a couple months at at time used as backups. Great that it has a built in usb hub.

If you've got a MacBook Pro then you have limited space. This gives you a ton and at pretty fast speed. The ability to daisychain makes for a cleaner desk too.

Great price on BF sale for a 8TB w/ 2 USB 3.0 The 2 year of free 200GB Microsoft OneDrive is a big plus. Also comes with built in back-up software, however it has limited functionality.

This drive added 8 TB of external storage. Great for the photographs and videos that I take. I also like the additional 3.0 USB ports that it adds.

Good device with plenty of space. So far so good. They have the white mac formatted version listed at $299. Save yourself $70 and just format this one with disk utility.

I've been using Seagate external hard drives for the past few years with much success. I needed to upgrade to an 8TB drive to store video files that were housed on several different, smaller external drives. I purchased this 8TB Seagate for a great deal during a recent sale. The drive functioned perfectly out-of-the-box. My computer automatically recognized the drive without having to download any drivers or software. I've loaded over 2TB of data so far and it has not failed once. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it's a tad slow when it kicks on from sleep mode -- most people won't really notice so it's not a major con.

Product is great if you need alot of storage for media and two front usb ports help delegate charging and connecting other electronics.

There's not a lot to be said to compliment something like an external hard drive but this one does the trick reliably. The design is nice but, if you're like me, this is a bit of a "set it and forget it" device. Which, if it proves to be that way, means it's doing it's job. The addition of the USB ports in the unit proved to be helpful. Though, when trying to use with a USB flash drive as a Mac Time Machine destination, proved to be a bit flaky. Could be the flash drive's fault and not this unit, though.

No problems. Tons of space and I have a second hard drive plugged into the USB port (daisy chain) with no noticeable lag.

this isn't just a great large capacity Drive (8tb) - it's also a USB 3.0 hub. All for much less than most 8tb drives .

The Seagate 8TB external USB hard drive was very easy to set up and works very smoothly in it's operation. Definitely recommend this product for easy back up and storage of all types of data.
