The only thing that is not clear is that you do not have to order the backup my PC. Once that installs on your compputer, it becomes a constant pop-up nusance.

This seems to be working okay, however, I couldn't figure out how to use it initially. I had to get someone to help me. I have had other hard drives before that were much easier to use.

I have had this unit for several months and it seems to perform properly with conflicts it was supper easy to set up and I hardly know it is their small and convenient

Bought this external drive to back up a new laptopn I recently acquired. I was pleased by the simplicity of the set up as well as a decent data transfer rate.

I wanted this to be able to easily move pictures and important documents off my computer. Also looking for something portable and this is perfect for that!

Just drag whatever you need onto the back up drive. Seems to have ALOT of space left and that's cuz I had a bunch of pictures music and documents.

I've had numerous external hard drives, many from Seagate. This one does not disappoint, and is great for transporting with me during my daily routine.

Price was a good value, could have waited for a sale but need it sooner. Excellent product as far as ease of installing. Would recommend it to anyone.

The drive is relatively easy to install, although full installation requires setting up the Dashboard agent. It is an easy way to back up the computer as frequently as needed.

1ST TIME USER. LOST ALL PIX AND DOCUMENTS WHEN PREVIOUS PC'S HARD DRIVE DISINTEGRATED. SHOULD HAVE HAD ONE OF THESE BEFORE THAT.

I have never used an external hard drive before, and I was happy to find out how easy it was to use one.

It is indeed worth your money! I have placed my entire files from my MacBook on here and there is still more than have of the memory left for storage :)

this is a great product for simple backup, although it's not the fastest thing around. I wouldn't use it as an every-day kind of drive, but for simple backup it works well.

Bought this as an additional backup. I have other external drives but really like this one given its slim design. Much easier to travel with.

Got it for a gift for someone who didn't have enough space for music. He wanted to also be able to take it with him anywhere. He loves it!

I needed an external drive to transfer data on to from my laptop. This drive was the ticket. Doubt that I will ever fill it up. Easy to use.

Well it saved my life, I did not have to do any thing but follow picture. I was able to access my stuff immediately.

Really only used it once so far but no issues. Have a similar one I got elsewhere. Only 4 stars only because I haven't put it to a lengthy test. Time will tell.
