Only issue and that's self induced- it's not portable. You need to use a power supply. I wasn't paying attention because I liked the price but not taking it back.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using Seagate 1 TB drive for a year now, and this was my second purchase, I have heard negative reviews but so far I have not encountered anything, in my opinion if you take care of the hard drive like don't throw it around etc then it will be fine, remember it is a mechanical drive not the SSD so you have to be careful how you handle it.

Seagate Backup 2TB for Mac

I am truly enjoying my Seagate Backup Plus Slim for Mac 2 TB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive. It was truly plug and play. Files stored on the hard drive display as quickly as looking at contents on the C:\ because of the extremely fast data load time. I can't tell if I'm working from the internal versus external hard drive.

Only negative is there are sharp corners on the case - not very comfortable to handle, but not a big deal since the drive won't be handled on a daily basis.
