This backup storage drive was a good purchase. The installation instructions were easy to follow. I use a Mac, which isn’t always easy to find compatible devices. This drive was easy to install and takes up very little space. In case you need it to travel it doesn’t weigh much. It gets the job done.

As a MAC user. This is my 3rd USB-3 portable 2TB hard drive purchased in 3yrs. All 3 read and write as fast as when I 1st purchase 2 of them 3yrs ago switching from the speedy Hitachi G 800 Firewire. I use to buy only Firewire HD's due to speed which cost a lot more and definately smaller in capacity compared to SG USB-2/3 HD's. With USB-3 SG HD's is just as dependable and fast. ThunderBolt, never used it and in my opinion is ridiculously over priced technology and too expensive for my pockets.

Drive plugged into my USB3 port and was immediately recognized and working. All the Seagate extras are on the drive and can be deleted or saved depending on your preference. Drive shuts off when PC goes into deep sleep mode and spins down when not being used. Seems very fast and my PC sees it like any other drive in the box except it is called a "Seagate Backup Plus Drive" and the letter my PC assigned to it. Very happy with it and price was reasonable what with a 2 year warranty and quick in store pickup.

Two tetrabytes of space and the ability to swap between Microsoft and Apple products for this price is an incredible bargain.

It works well with my WiiU, just plug and play. It's related to a model Nintendo recommends and for those wondering, it does come with AC adapter, though I understand it can run off USB power as well. Nintendo recommends using a hard drive with a separate power supply, a criteria, this model meets. The only bad thing is it's always on, if that matters, when running off the AC adapter. Had an old seagate drive that never let me down and for this kind of thing, it's the only brand I'll trust.

Sea gate had dependable products, therefore I am sure the 2tb will meet all my storage expectation, just as my 5 go did!

I have been very pleased with this external hard drive. It reads and writes at a great speed and has never given me any issues in accessing stored files. My only complaint is that its only MAC compatible and I recently switched to PC and now I can not use unless I reformat it, but then I loose 2 years worth of clients stored images, so had to buy a separate PC compatible external. Otherwise love of slim, small and portable this HD is!

great solution to the problem of putting all of the digital image files in one place. . . easy and efficient storage.

After losing files time after time due to hardware or software problems I now use this 2 TB External drive to do full back up of my important file such as pictures and documents that I cant afford to lose. This external USB is quick and easy to set up and I had my files backed up in a matter of minutes. I also use it while traveling instead of carry a tablet or note book just in case I need to access files for business while away with the burden of carrying extra hardware.

this drive is super small and lite. This is a great buy for backup for you Mac and it even works for ps4 upgrade!

I have had many hard drives and I have found this Seahaye to be reliable. I also like the size and capacity.

Small and stylish with plenty of space. Makes a great HD to use for time machine. Color matches the iMac and small enough to fit on stand under monitor

I needed a large external drive to back up A BUNCH of photos from my Mac and make it available to my PC at a different location. The drive was recognized by the Mac with no problems. It was very fast. It also was just as quick and easy with the PC. I have always trusted and enjoyed Seagate products.... In fact I use one of their Goflex Home units for a home "server" and cloud storage units. This drive was just another winning product from Seagate and Best Buy!

Use to back up photography. No power is needed making it very useful. Small enough to store in my camera case.

This is a great drive for the price, I've had 3 now for over a year and they seem to be working well still, which is why I have bought another!
