Works great, but difficult to set up on a Mac that operates with parallels program!

Bestbuy.com provided easy access to product information and reviews. The price was better than anywhere else. Delivery was quick. The Seagate - Backup Plus Slim for Mac 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive was easy to set up and start using. Backs up my iMac perfectly using Time Machine. Best Buy Rocks.

Good external drive. Simple to use. Easy installation.

HAD VISTA ON OLD COMPUTER. Directions not compatable with that program. Terrible time trying to figure out how to use it. Am in the process of calling company to see how to put some of the info from the external drive into new computer with windows 8.1.

Nice and compact. It takes longer to import/export contents but still do its job.

My previous external hard drive decided to quit in the middle of a full system backup. This unit seems to be just what I need to maintain a backup in the event of a crash of my desktop. I gave it a four because I did not find the built in backup software to be fast or effective. I use Acronis.

This drive is my iTunes Library, and i have about 1.5 TB of itunes so far and this drive is holding up quite well, my only problem is I'm running out of space slowly but surely so it might not be future proof but it works for now

Simply perfect. Just plug it into MacBookPro USB 3.0 and TimeMachine backup worked immediately. The provided driver is not necessary. Mac deals with the drive out-of-the-box. No need to format, partition or load any driver.

great and simple to backup files or to just to use as a storage device.

Great back up hard drive, I know this brand for this kind of products, and memory flash and they’re make a great product, no complaints so far

I brought this drive as a portable backup for daily use to replace another drive that just did not have the storage requirements I needed. With USB 3.0 backups are fast and this was Mac compatible right out of the box.

I have been using this external hard drive for several months and find it to be dependable (at least so far). I know sometimes external drives fail, so I'm hoping this one continues to hold up!

Purchased other hard drives that were suppose to be “Mac” compatible, but a pain to setup. I later returned that hard drive and purchased this Seagate for Mac & it’s been a dream!

I had thousands of large files on 3 different Macs and several small flash drives. I was hoping my consolidation backup to the Seagate would be quick and straightforward and thankfully, it was.

I already had a seagate storage for my computer and really like it. I got this one to transfer tv programs from one dvr to another and for storage of the kids tv programs.

I was told by BB salesman that I need some kind of drivers installed in order to transfer my windows music files from another hard drive but it seems it doesn't just drag and place and ready to go......!!!!!!
