use this hard drive for my xbox one! it works perfectly. not too big or too small

I've bought a number of portable hard drives over the years. Seagate has always been my preferred brand. This product does everything that I wanted it to. A great backup drive.

We bought this drive as a portable expansion drive for several devices we have. We plugged it in and started to use it. No fuss, no issues, no sweat. I wish all electronics were like this!

I bought this drive to aid in storing my iTunes movie and TV collection in a portable manner. It more than handles the read/write speed I was looking for and the playback is awesome!!!

I would never ever buy a Seagate product again. It's not at all user friendly, doesn't back up the data it says it's backing up. It takes tweaking and lots of patience to even get it to work. The WD drive it replaced was easy to use and worked perfectly for the 5 years I used it--still working, but I needed a lot more storage space. Seagate offers no useful support, is a shoddy product--cheaply made and even though I finally managed to get it to work, I have no faith that it will stand the test of time. Do not purchase a Seagate drive.

It took 8 hours to back up my 312 GB linux partition. Not a real problem, but I'd hoped for better. Happy anyway. Know nothing about whatever software is included, we're using linux.

I have several of them and seagate never fails me. Speedy transfer rates. However, I am disappointed that Best Buy no longer carries them in store. Bad move BB.

I bought this as a backup drive for dish network programs I wanted to save from a DVR and it worked perfectly. I had to return two other devices that didn't work.

This was a replacement to my Original Seagate (which works well too) that i gave to a friend. Be sure to read packaging as some only work with Macbook.

Daughter needed to back up her Mac Book Pro in order to effect some repairs at the Apple Store. The Seagate external drive perfomed flawlessly in connection and data transfer.

I've generally been happy with Seagate's products in the past, but this drive transfered data very slow, even over USB 3.0. I connected the drive to two different computers, and on both the transfer speeds were horrible Both computers computers have SATA III SSDs from Samsung, so I know the slow transfer speed is the Seagate's fault.

I ordered one first but it didn't work at all i assume it got damage in the mail, i re ordered and the one i got it works perfectly fine.

This works exactly as described. However I have registered it at least 10 times with Seagate and every time I boot my system it asks to register the device.

Purchased this to use with Time Machine on my iMac. Two years later and no issues at all.

The continuos update feature of the included software makes this a winner. Just set it up, and forget it. The Seagate software continuously backs up your files as they are added or modified.
