This thing is Junk, never buying Seagate products

Less than 90 days into the product it chugs along slowly and now it just stops down completely. No help with warranty and I am screwed. Worst external HD I have ever purchased. JUNK.

Don't Use As A Backup For Your DVR

THIS ONE! OMG. 3 Hours trying to format on my receiver, it claims it formatted, but the receiver doesn't even realize it is connected to the HD. I have NEVER had issues like this before. Returning!

They work great with Server 2k8, 2K8R2, 2012 and 2012 R2. For some reason they are completely incompatible with SBS 2011. I spent 3 hours on the phone with Dell support attempting to troubleshoot only to find out that these were not on the compatibility list.

Annoying!

It makes this annoying beeping sound whenever you transfer files. it doesn't do that all the time but when it does it drives me NUTSSSS. I get anxiety from the beeping sound, like it's about to explode or something. It also sounds like youre scanning an item at the grocery- very annoying.
