DEAD within 3 days of use

Haven't been able to use it yet!

Had to go on ebay to find an adaptor that is coming from China sometime next month. Best Buy doesn't carry the adaptor and none of my devices has a USB-C connection!

It needs a computer to operate
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is NOT a self-powered or stand-alone drive. It is simply a traditional slow external hard drive with a micro SD card slot. It doesn't allow you to copy files from the SD card to the drive on its own. This drive needs to be plugged in to a computer or laptop to work which I'm sure many may not know from reading the description. If this drive could function alone (may be with the help of a battery, a small built-in display and a button or two) to allow me transfer files from the memory card, I would be all over it. But without that function, it is nothing special. With all that said, if you need an external drive, and can find this for $50 as a Deal of the Day, it is a good deal especially for those who own a laptop that doesn't have a card reader.
