Love this drive. It works great for storing massive amounts of digital video from my GoPro Hero3. I fly every day and record my flights. Each one can exceed 32GB . This drive make it easy to transfer my data and store it for later review.

I needed an external drive that had plenty of storage space for large audio files but did not require extensive installation time. Plugged in this drive and within a couple of minutes I was up and running. Works quickly and quietly.

I am not technically inclined, this was easy to set up and to use

1 TB of storage in such a small space. What a great deal.

Super easy to instal, extremely easy to use. You don't have to be tech savvy to know how to use it. And contradictory to what the box says it is also compatible with Mac OS.

The drive case was smaller than expected. That was a bonus and it doesn't need power from a wall outlet just the USB. It is noticeably faster on a 3.0 USB vs. a 2.0

Is a Seagate Brand is a quality hard-drive plenty of storage space for some users for bigger digital storage space there is a 2TB, 4TB portable hard drive. This model hard drive which I have tested on normal white 2.0 USB speed is fast and on blue USB 3.0 is faster but works fast on both is seamless cant really see the difference only on software read write test but this will be use to store not test all the time so is great either way use it in any speed is fast and very silent I cannot hear it spin like old hard-drives when on.

I needed an external hard drive as I am a student and have many downloads. I was thrilled to find this because even though it is 1 terrabyte, it is very small and compact, and so it is easy to carry with you.

Bought for my mom to back up all of her pictures and documents- works as it is supposed to! Plenty of storage, nice and compact!

It solves the issue of memory on your iPad device. I have the retina or iPad 4. The Seagate syncs to wifi through the Seagate app, downloadable through iTunes. The app costs I think $4.99 or $6.99 but worth it. The negatives, when charging the hard drive there's an external light to let you know it's charging but no indication or change when your fully charged. The battery life isn't so great either when lets say streaming a movie. I have seen like 3-4 hours battery life. So keep your charging cable available. Oh but don't LOSE the cable because I can't find a replacement. The car adaptor for charging you iPhone will work with charging this device as well so at least you don't have to buy that.

This drive has been excellent so far. Small size is really great, speed and reliability good so far as well.

This is HD is perfect for travelers who need space for backup. Plenty of space for multiple levels of backup. You do not need to have an external power source since power comes from the USB cable.

I bought the portable hard drive to consolidate all my photos into one place. It is easy to use and tons of memory! So far, I have had only good experiences with it and am happy with the purchase.
