Can be use both of Mac and Windows

Otherwise. I have no complaints. I have been using external drives for years. I have two portables that I have owned for more than eight years. They have traveled with me mist of that time, and they still work great. This is the first Seagate, and it is giving me an error message everytime I plug in. I am not an expert, but I don't think I would buy again if it doesn't last a few more years.

No extra power supply is needed. I have another one that has served me well for at least a year now.
