    I just added 2 of these in my windows 10 set up as a server and using Stabilbit Drive Pool for duplication in the 8 drives in the server counting these. They seem to be working well and the rescue data recovery service is a plus, but i hope with the file duplication using Drive Pool that it will not be needed

  • Multiple Bad Drives

    Purchase two drives. Both failed within 3 months of use. RMA was a nightmare. First replacement drive that Seagate sent was DOA. Had to pay shipping to send the drive back Seagate. Second replacement drive Seagate sent was also DOA. Had to pay shipping to send the drive back. Third replacement drive was OK (passed smart test) but after the first two I don't trust to run it in my NAS. Replaced with REDs as mentioned below. I added the second drive I had bought as a backup to my NAS while going through the RMA process. That drive also failed within the window I was dealing with the original drives RMA that died. Since i was down a drive and another failed disk would have meant I lost my RAID I purchased some WD Red Plus drives. Been happy with those.

    NTFS Formats to 10.9TB with no problems. HDD prices slowly going down.

    Wasn't compatible with mac out of the box, but all it took was formatting with disk utility. 1 month of it spinning 24/7 and working great! Much faster than expected as well, around 200mbps
