Tons of storage for my media server! Really nice build quality too

Just the right size for the Synology NAS, especially with a five year warranty.

I've had this drive for almost 4 months. I was fortunate enough to purchase it when it was on sale. The drive has a great warranty period of 5 years, and being an Enterprise class drive, it should perform well for a good while. The drive is intended as a NAS (Network Attached Store) drive. My use case it different. I use it as a secondary internal hard drive on my home-built PC, which I use mostly for gaming, video storage, and Unreal Engine projects. There are 2 things I have become aware of while using this as a secondary internal drive in my home PC. 1) The drive is not as quiet as your typical internal hard drives made specifically for a home PC. 2) If the PC is put into sleep mode, when it is awakened this drive is offline (no longer visible in the file manager). In this case, the only way to get the disk online is to reboot the PC. For me the above 2 things are not really an issue because I use headphones, and I don't put my PC into sleep mode. Again, this drive is intended as a NAS drive, but is useable as an internal secondary hard drive in a home PC with the above mentioned caveats.

Used this as a dedicated media drive for a Plex Media Server - filled it up to 75% already within a few weeks and the performance has stayed steady and within expected ranges. Very quiet, and seems to stay relatively cool. Great drive so far!

Replaced Toshiba NAS drives with these and do not regret it. These run a little hotter and have less cache but they don't fail S.M.A.R.T. Tests consistently nor make as much noise. They also don't throw Crc errors. I replaced 8 new drives with these just for the issues I mentioned. If you want something that just works and isn't as loud, get these. You'll have piece of mind these won't fail unlike the Toshiba N300's they replaced.

I've been running this in a NAS for several months and as expected I have had no issues at all.

Works as intended with my Ugreen 6800 Pro NAS. It’s fairly silent and can only hear the clicking noise when HDD are being written to. 5 year warranty is a huge plus was well

Added this 16 TB Ironwolf Pro device to my NAS. Insert the drive and initialized and put it in operation with zero problem!

This drive is a great High capacity HDD. Good speed and decent price when on sale.

This is an excellent internal hard drive. It is fast and easy to use.

Whatever you do DO NOT BUY THIS FROM BEST BUY. More like WORST BUY. This company is an absolute joke. They will send you a DEAD ON ARRIVAL product and when you try to return it, day of, their website will send you through a loop of errors making it impossible to return. After that their customer service will be completely useless and won't return it for you. Don't worry you will have to drive to the store will they will force you to accept store credit for more of their garbage broken products. Don't be like me, don't waste your time and money purchasing stuff from this unbelievably cursed website and business.

Drives were error free from the beginning. Replaced my 5 year old NAS drives with these. So far happy with the speed. Hoping for another 5 years without issues.

Easy set up and has enough memory for gaming needs. Great product.

These are great drives for a NAS, and work perfectly with my Synology NAS server. I'm using 4 drives.
