Good External Hard Drive for home network to watch videos on iPad and iPhone.

Product worked greats if your just using one device, very loud when its running.

This is a better option for keeping a back up and not having high maintenance.

Old one died so bought this one. Set up was quick and easy. So Far so Good

I love this fitbit. works great with many apps to keep track of even more health related matters. I wish the battery lasted longer, the first time only was good for about 4 days. Other than that perfect size, love the color of the bands.

Husband bought so he could free up space on his phone by having pictures uploaded to the hard drive through a wifi hard drive. Great idea but he didn't have the patience for it. He said the upload was slow compared to using a USB hard drive.

Using it to backup and play my digital media across my network and on my AppleTV's. Really quick access, has yet to fail me yet!! With a strong enough network, there is no lag or buffering when it come to streaming my media.

Bought this. Asked boys in blue for assistance. They are very knowledgeable but need to remember we are not. Tried setting it up. It's beyond my tech expertise. I know it's a good product can't wait to get it to go. Had it for 9 mos.

I like to be able to setup gear as easy and user-friendly as possible. The set up was not as intuitive as I thought it would and I was not able to connect my phone to the cloud just using my phone's internet.

The other day, I was upgrading my satellite internet modem. During the install,the mystery of the tangled cables continued. Anyway, I needed to disconnect the seagate to untangle the power supply. When pulling the connector from the seagate, the power receptacle in the seagate dislodged from the circuit board. I have never seen this before and was quite surprised when I got the case open and found such shoddy components and installation of the receptacle. I will attempt repairs because all of my everyday and required information is on the drive. My loss!

Initially I need help from Seagate Technical Support to set the drive up. Support staff were very patient and helpful. The drive is working as described and I am very satisfied with it.

I bought this as a music server for my Sonos system. I've transferred about 80 GB of music so far, and no problems. Playback is fast and smooth. I plan to buy another at some point.

works as advertised. easy setup & fast transfer of data. i use it as windows 10 file backup process & as my music server with a heos5 wieless speaker. couldn't be happier.
