Pretty much a network hard drive is what you expect. Was pretty simple to set up once the software loaded completely. Initially backing up was a long process, but seems good now and auto update of changes to files is a nice simple touch.

Pros: It has plenty of space and it was not expensive. Cons: The interface goes slow and looks like something from 15 years ago. I think it would work okay as only a back up drive (eg, move things to or from), but it does not work well for me when I try to access, view, etc. files directly from the drive. If Seagate can come up with an interface that is (much) more functional for viewing media and can allow you to hide folders, files, documents when casting to your TV, then it may be 5 stars.

It's a nice hard drive. Very easy to setup and use as a Plex server. My only complaint is that it can be pretty slow at times regardless of a high download/upload speed.

I bought this to help move data from an old XP machine. That was a mistake. It does not work with XP. I should have read more. With my new machine, it works great.

I'm not sure exactly how to use backup for other devices but it seems that every other week it fails to backup my mail computer for some reason. I will have to call customer service and find out if there is a settings issue.

it's good at storing files like any external drive but the cloud portion needs some improvement. i would recommend buying a regular external drive or creating your own "cloud environment".

Have had the personal cloud for a while now. Setup was super easy, and has worked flawlessly.

Have a home office with two rooms, two computers. Decided to purchase this wireless hard drive so both computers could share info. The process of uploading information is a bit complicated. I wish it was simply like having a hard drive and uploading and retrieving info, but it's a bit more than that. Security seems good being that's it's wireless but still not as simple as I hoped it would be. It's possible being 41 I'm just not hip to the latest tech though.

I used my Personal Cloud for storing pictures and documents. No problems accessing locally or remotely.

Using the drive for extra storage accessible to all my systems. So far it's been great and easy to use.

Works every well except was not easy to make it work with iphone.. still not sure..but with Samsung / android it works seamless and flawless

3 TB of space and the price was not so bad, set up was easy and was up and running in no time.

This was a Christmas present,and I thought I would never use it. Turns out I use it for everything..photos , files etc.

We got this for storing movies but have found it is great for all documents and pictures with plenty of space for many more.

This NAS works as well or better than more expensive models by WD or Synology. Fast access and easy to use server software.

Transferring data is pretty slow. Found this especially time consuming when transferring pictures to the drive.

best buy employee recommended this product. I had geek squad do an onsite installation. After registering product, software asked to log on. Using the confirmation sent by Seagate, I was told I didn't have an account. Through multiple reboots of router, computer, Seagate we could never get product to work.

So far product has met expections for use of its purchase. Much better than previous products purchased.

Great for sharing photos, music and etc. I like having one location to maintain, but being able to view across other platforms on my network.

This device worth it.. even being little expensive it does what is suppose to do it. 4 charges per "inner charge"... Let's how long it lasts
