Like most we fill up the iCloud quickly and so my son picked up the Seagate Personal cloud for the house. Thus far it's been great. I never care for third party stuff and feel more comfortable with the unit at home

It's a great product at a great price. It's very user friendly and a must-have for anyone who wants to protect and preserve their cherished electronic memories.

This is great for taking things with you. We have a smart TV in the RV. All we have to do is take the drive and have the ability to show all our pictures to family.

I was SO excited for this product, but was disappointed by how complicated it was to use. I work in many different places so the the idea that l'd have access to my "extra" files from anywhere, whenever, and on different devices was very appealing. I'm sure it would be great for someone who is very tech savvy. I would say I am generally pretty good with technology set up and use, but it was pretty difficult with the file loading and later access. I ended up just getting a simple external hard drive, same brand, but something I could just plug-in and plop the files in and out of.

Works great - it allowed me to clear memory on multiple phones, without losing the ability to view photos at the touch of a button.

this "Ethernet" seagate personnal storage unit is not easy to install, use or friendly in any way. every single device has to be connected seperately and you are lucky to have it connect and stay connected, the "download / upload" is a joke and can only do a few items at a time if it is even working, the device "AUTO" turns off to save power and never comes back on, and you can never reconnect to it. I thought seagate was a top computer perifials company but now I am NOT sure. and must look elsewhere for a descent simple plug and use external device, maybe WD has one. DO NOT BUY THIS

Bought this to use as a media player for my Samsung Smart TV. Works well. Would have got 5 stars except it seems slow in transferring files to it from my laptop, even over the Lan cable.

The concept is great but the software/app needs a little work. Very difficult to download and organize pictures. Needs a seamless way to download iPhone pics to PersonalCloud hardware.

The setup was a little above me but once up and running this is perfect solution to no longer pay for cloud on each device.

I bought this product and it is working fine. but some times when connected through mobile seagate drive remotely, it is often losing connection. this issue needs to be fixed.

I haven't had time to fine tune the back up process or my file structure but moved all files I want to keep onto it without an issue. I want to back up my iTunes library next.

The product was very easy to set up. It has great storage for the price and I can access the information on it from anywhere that I have an internet connection.

love wireless between all devices. Makes it so much easier. Don't have to worry about not having enough space

Seagate makes some nice products. I bought this drive to attach to my home network. I use it to back up my desktop, Surface Pro, 2 laptops and several phones. The automated back up works well and gives me peace of mind knowing my files are secure. I also attached a Seagate portable hard drive to this to have a backup of the backup. It's also nice sharing files quickly between computers. I haven't put the NAS on the cloud yet but will do so soon.

The set up was difficult as it did not install well on older PC and had to reinitiate on new laptop Once installed all runs well No problems

I don’t even remember how long ago I bought this but it was shortly after they were released. It was sort of glitchy at first as far as connecting reliably but that didn’t last long, I think there were driver issues or something but since then it’s always there in the background on my network just doing its job. Love it.
