I had to return the a Western Digital unit because it would not connect to my Xfinity router. The Seagate had no problems and set itself up in a couple of minutes. Easy to use, backup, and connect remotely.

I use this mainly to store all my movies, 500+ then streaming wireless through my iTunes on Macbook to 3 Apple TV's. The Seagate is on one end of house, Macbook on the other end and Apple TV's scattered around. Stronger signal then previous Seagate Cloud. I also have 1 TB backup from Macbook + 97 Gig of music, and all working flawless.

We backup everything to multiple locations, cloud and NAS. This works great, up and running within minutes and now backing up daily work to drive.

I have always been a WD fan alter many years ago having a series of Seagate disks fail. I bought this because it had better cloud and media services than the WD products out at the time. I have had a Seagate NAS fail with 20 days left on the warranty and Seagate replaced it with a better model.

The setup was straightforward and it was easy to link both Mac and PC devices. Had some issues recognizing files from my Mac.

setup is almost automatic ---- but after the main computer died I did not know how to send data to new computer----- could not find additional software to do this----- I used explorer copy and past files that I needed ---- this is not what I thought it was supposed to do --- I would only recommend this to a Tec savvy person.

I have a lot of devices and the Personal Cloud is providing me a space to gather and sort all of my content and have access to it on all of my devices. I can only see the need for devices like this growing over time.

It works well, can't really complain. We needed this for our local screen printing company. Works well to share linked external drives to all our computers attached to the wifi network.

Kind of nifty. After you perform the initial start up that was simple but to dive into the details you almost have to have experience with storage set up user set up security set up so most like you are the systems administrator of your cloud and if you don't have that experience you might find it complicated to keep running smoothly

It’s working perfectly with my computers and tablets. The backup software it comes with is effortlessly automating the backup of my photos. It’s running on a gigabit switch so it’s quick. Accessing the shares from Mac, Windows, android and iOS devices are perfect. I used Western Digital MyCloud before for the network shares ption, but I’m finding this is an excellent new product.

This cloud drive is a lot better than the WD MyCloud that originally had. This one stays up no complicated setup no constant reboots like I had with the WD drive

Set up was easy, and transfer of data was flawless

Large network storage. Does what the ad says it does. Easy to setup and works like a champ. It does take a couple of seconds for my TV to see it when I switch over to the DLNA option.

Lags a lot with updating the folder list between drive and mobile/external devices. Now that I am adding fewer folders, works better. Overall, I am neither impressed nor terribly disappointed with the device.

This unit is truly plug and play. With easy to read instructions and simple interface software makes setting it up easy and quick

My golflex storage had maxed out and was looking to add more storage along with starting home media server. This 4 TB drive was a nice upgrade and setup was very easy. I am now able to back up all my home PCs and have started loading all my photos, music and movies. For someone just starting with NAS this is a great solution.

This is the first time I set up a network storage, I did it to save my iphone back ups and free space from my mac, but the OS didn't allow me to. Either way, I like how easy it was to setup and how I can exchange my personal files from wherever, plus it's pretty quick, I kept it

The personal cloud is a great alternative to a paid online service. I highly recommend its purchase.

So far so good. I like it better than the Seagate Central that died on me after 2yrs.

This item is easy to use, it's an effortless personal cloud, the setup is minimal.
