Easy setup with my Samsung Smart TV and Sony Soundbar. Couldn't be better.

bought this product to hold all of our movie collection.

We purchased this to wirelessly connect all of our movies to our Apple TV and get rid of all our disks. It's great! You do have to access movies using a special App, but we have an older Apple TV and can still watch the movies using an iPad with the App downloaded on it. I'm sure it would be slightly easier with newest Apple TV, which can download the App directly to it. Either way, it's amazing that we've downloaded well over 100 movies to it and have barely used up much space at all! What I really like is not having to keep disks around with little kids any more! So nice!

I got this for my wife because the computer hard drive was nearly full and she had to keep on deleting files to add more. I had her use this so that she could access her stuff from any device we own rather than just having it on one device. The biggest problem is this doesn't work with my roku like I expected it to.

I brought Seagate after my MybookPro died sheet 3 years of use. And after a 800 data restore, I didn't want to go back to MyBook. The box shows its compatible with Apple... It's not. The read/write speed using SMB or AFP is horrible. I can't use the USB port despite the box saying that you can. Well, after I get my data off, I'm returning this unit back to best buy. The drive sounds like it's about to crash, so I don't want to take the chance. It does however; work with Windows ok. The setup was not that great, you have to setup an online account first, instead of local. The streaming does not work well across Safari, but even on Windows with a Gig link the performance was subpar.

After playing around with it for a couple days, I decided my needs would be better served by a simple Windows file share using an old PC. I gave it to a friend who uses it to store his family photos for his whole house to access. It's simple and easy to set up, which makes it perfect for a family that just wants to store files and share between computers. I opted for a more complicated route, but I would recommend this device to someone looking for a simple and effective network storage solution.

The NAS stays up and always performs well. There are only two things I dislike about this NAS. The first is that they really push you to putting it on the internet which for security reasons I am not comfortable with. You can use it without connecting it to the internet but the mobile device apps do not work. It would be nice to use the apps while connected to my local network. The other is the web UI and add-ons are very weak. I have used other NAS products that had more "apps" as they call them that can make the NAS more flexible. There UI allows for very little configuration of the NAS so if you want a lot of features and total control this is not the NAS for you. I bought this NAS to for its network media features so I could backup and move my Blu-ray and DVD collection to it. I can use it with all my network video devices with not issues due to the NAS.

This external drive was for my son he now has plenty of space for his games. It was very easy to use just plug and play.

Had some issues setting up, but figured it out...am able to log in remotely

Bought this so we would have access to media without having to turn on laptop. Very easy setup. Remote access works great allowing you to share certain media If you want for viewing or downloading

I've had the Personal Cloud for a couple of months. I bought it for backup, so I can't comment on its Cloud capabilities. It is visible on the network to all of my computers - Windows 7, 8 and 10 as well as OS/X. The interface is easy to use, and looks nice. It sends you e-mail for status, firmware updates, etc. Yes, its not the fastest NAS, but you can't expect that at this price point. It doesn't cost much more than a bare hard drive of the same size.

Had this for four weeks and once I figured out how to set it up the way I wanted it works perfectly. Only time will tell how reliable it is. I am a windows user and this is unix based. Not sure if this makes any differnce.

Fast, easy to set up and use. Only issue is you can only access public folders via the mobile app.

Good NAS unsure if it's the best and better than WD MyCloud?

Brought this for clouding a lot of devices around the house. Kids all have tablets and this works great for them to all share movies. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Works great while connected to my home network. Does not provide remote access quite as easily as promoted, but does provide some remote access to your files. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

This lil guy handles plex on my iPhone perfectly and it's the only small one drive that does. It won't stream to a big tv however cuz it dosent have the processing power
