Drive is quiet. The software suite that is included has a lot of features and usefull programs.

I like using my own personal cloud to store all my data. The only thing I hate about it is when you use your phone to access it you can only use your public folder and you can't access you private folder other than that it's really great product.

Could use better software, connectivity is not reliable.

I bought the 4 GB version and it works but it's slow and gets pretty warm when running.

I bought this to work with my Plex Media Server after being disappointed with the WD MyCloud. Seagate's entry level works to connect your entire media network easily. I upgraded from the Seagate Central as well.

Bought this to work on the same network that I have a wd mycloud and was surprised at how much different but the same these are. I actually like this better that the mycloud. Highly recommended

I purchased this drive after finding out my current cloud provider is going away. I thought "cool" I can have my own "cloud share drive". But I was wrong. The biggest issue is getting my existing data onto the new drive. It just takes forever to copy things over - I have gigabytes of data.

Bought this primarily to backup photos and video. Wanted something that my wife and kids could easily upload to and view pics from anywhere. I have also found it useful for document storage.

Works really well. Could use a simpler set up description.

I purchased an additional external drive because I need the space for photos and videos. It's great that it has a cloud service to access the files when I need them. Very pleased.

This server hooks up to your home network and makes everything you put in there available via an app that you can download to your phone, ipad, etc. Great piece of equipment!

Not as easy to set up as I thought. But with some tech help. I got it going. Now both my PC are running faster. I took all the media off them and store it using this.

Well, it wasn't what I was looking for. It was not as simple as I expected it to be. Exchanged it for a regular portable drive, which doesn't have all the bells and whistles this one promises, but is sure easy with transferring and backing up files.

It was just what I needed and the information provided by customer service lead me to purchase this product as it was exactly what I was looking for
