Grt storage and great price. What needed.. also slim

This was a good device for backing up my pc and hard drive that I can take with me when I travel since I have more than one computer. It is the size of a smart phone so it is easy to carry and has half a terrabyte of memory. It is more than enough to hold lots of music and pictures that I may want to access while travelling.

This is an excellent device for backing up information. It is also small and light making it very easy to carry with you as needed. Love it!

I'm a photographer and need reliable hard drives that don't take up a lot of space. This hard drive is just that. fast reading and reliable.

I have put various files onto this drive (Video files, HD video files, MP3's, photos, etc) and they have all played back perfectly fine when connected to my computer. They also play fine when connected to my Blu Ray Player (which has a usb port). This drive is slim and compact and as long as it keeps my files safe and plays them properly, this gets an A+ from me.

We have not had a Seagate product fail on us before. It is reliable, sleek, and very portable. I wish Best Buy carried more colors.

I purchased this product to backup photos and personal files from my computer. It is easy to use and is very lightweight and portable.

It was easy to set up with the enclosed software, but I'm a computer pro and I found that the software tried to make things too simple, so I had to root around to make it do the backup that I wanted. It seems to want to do everything from the start, so if you want to edit your backup set, it doesn't give you a logical option. on the start up screen.

This portable hard drive is very easy to use, just plug and play. This is the best solution to back up your pictures or music. The size is more than anyone may need for normal use. That is many hours of music, and thousands of pictures. I would recommend this HD to everyone.

I purchased several of these as backups for my photography work. I have never had a Seagate portable hard drive fail me.

Very handy back-up that can be stored away from computer for security, but remains readily available whenever needed.

I bought this product to use as an external back up to my PC. It was remarkably easy to install and please note I am no expert. The Seagate dashboard is awesome and easy to understand. I have no problems what so ever. It truly is a great value for a low price!

Works great so far, great to just back up files. I'm not super tech savvy so this was very easy to use which I liked. The guy at the store and the package told me this one is compatible with Mac and PC so if I ever get a Mac I can transfer my files over easily.

Seagate external hard drive is easy to use. It's amazing how such a small piece of equipment can hold so much important information. Could hardly believe how little time it took to transfer all the files I needed backed up in case my computer crashes. It makes me feel so secure knowing that my information is more secure.

Having never used an external hard drive before, this one was very easy to use. I didn't have to read any instructions. It pretty much installed and set up itself. I anticipate a smooth transition from my Mac to my new PC. It is compatible with both.

This is a very small, slim backup that will fit anywhere. Really an improvement over the old backup drives.

I bought this to send some movies to my son in Afghanistan. It didn't work with my old pc. It has a slow processor and the hard drive is only 100 gb. This external drive is 500 gb. Froze up the old pc. I got a new computer and it works like a charm!
