very fun game Donkey Kong is easy to use and good storyline to recommend

for the price it is an excellent port of the original game.

I love this game! It brings all the same features I loved from the original donkey kong country and packs them into a handheld, 3D world. I really like the ability to choose between new and old mode where new gives you more hearts to work with. I haven't put this game down in the last month

I was never into Donky Kong, but like platformers so I picked this up. The graphics are great, but this can be a VERY difficult game. For example, I had 65 lives. At the end of a particularly frustrating level, I was down to 13 lives. I like a challenge, but this was ridiculous. I gave up and got rid of the game.

So glad they went back to the Donkey Kong Country series and the development team here did it right!

When this game came out on the Wii it was the perfect way to reintroduce the Donkey Kong Country series. On the 3DS it now includes more than the Wii version albeit with a lower resolution and framerate. If these things don't bother you then this will be an enjoyable game for you.

I never really got into the original Donkey Kong Country trilogy, thinking they were sort of platformers with not much substance. This game is turning me around to it and I think I'll revisit the originals. From a newcomer to other newcomers, this game is worth your time.

I love the DKC series and really enjoy handheld platforms, so this was a no brainer. Very faithful to the original and great to play on the go.

I was very skeptical when Rare was bought out by Microsoft as to the quality of this Donkey Kong title, but man it was a blast to play. While this entry can't compare to the SNES and N64 titles, it does an awesome job contending.

I bought this game because I had played the old game on the game boy, and I wanted a newer version of Donkey Kong. I am so happy with this purchase! The game is just as i remember but cooler than ever with the new 3d and game play.

We all know and love the furry guy donkey kong , so of course had to pick up a copy of donkey kong country returns for the 3ds my kid, had to yeah him what good games were all about back then . And guess what ? He loves it !

Donkey Kong has brought back so many good memories and now it seems my granddaughter enjoys it. My 6 year old granddaughter loves this game! She was able to learn it quick. She claims it to be her favorite so far.

This is a great game for any fan of the Donkey Kong Country series. If you love the game on the Super Nintendo System, you'll like this on your 3DS. One of the best of the original Wii Nintendo Selects series.

Love the game but if you want to use the d pad like i feel more comfortable with you have to use the top L and R buttons for certain actions.I did not like that at all.Other than that i love the game.

The game itself is extremely fun, lives up to the Donkey Kong title, and a must for any 3DS owner looking for a good, quick platformer while at thesame time having hours of extras for the collectors

The 3DS port of DKC Returns is Donkey Kong at (almost) his best. The game itself remains one of the best platforming games of the 00s but the form factor of the 3DS can occasionally be more frustrating than playing on the original Wii version.

These game is definitely the best plat former on the 3ds. The game has an above average difficulty but is fun and rewarding to play. The game is a must have for any 3ds collector and gamer.

I remember my first Donkey Kong game system when I was a kid, in the early 80's! Times have changed, but this game is still fun. Easy to play the different levels and fun too!

The nostalgia from this game is amazing, If you enjoyed playing Donkey Kong as a kid, or want your child to have the same experience you did growing up then buy this game!
