Otherwise, it's one player vs 3 computer. There is no online multiplayer option. The experience with 3 local players is good, but there are only 7 maps and seems like a super cut down Mario party experience.

A Lot of mini-games but not much substance

You can play the board games of mini games individually. Enough to hold the interest of the younger player, but older players may get bored.
