This is about what you'd expect from a Super Mario game. Good platforming, even if the 3D environment takes a bit to get used to. This feels like a proper successor to the Mario World game from the SNES. Less puzzle solving and storyline, more good solid platforming There are a few of the "WiiU/DS" gimmick pieces where you have to blow on the microphone or touch the screen, but they are limited to a few levels. The co-op in the game is a lot of fun, and gets zany. You WILL burn through lives with multiple players going.

The influences of the previous Super Mario games is obvious, which is a good thing in my opinion. Better than the 3ds version. Not necessarily good for little kids though, as it gets a little hard.

Classic Mario platformer for the Wii U. Introduces a few clever new gameplay elements but isn't too difficult to playthrough. Great deal at the Nintendo Selects pricepoint.

Super Mario 3D world is another excellent Mario game in the Wii U game library. Levels are cleverly designed and slick. Gameplay is frantic and awesome like previous Mario games.

Let's face it. Nintendo has the best first party game. And here is a prime example. This is by far one of the best on the console, and at the new low price, it's a steal. Buy it!

While I am partially biased to Mario games, it is fun especially with the ability to play up to 4 players at the same time on one screen. Some levels seem too easy.

Every iteration of Mario has been incredible, and Super Mario 3D World is no exception. Mario has always held a special place in my heart, and Super Mario 3D World is another fantastic entry for the Wii U for all ages to enjoy. Whether playing solo or with someone else, you'll be having a great time going through beautifully crafted levels complemented by a beautiful soundtrack, and with some of the best graphics the console has to offer alongside with it. If you're a Mario fan, you absolutely NEED to have this in your collection.

It is a great game, fun and exciting. Not to hard to play. My kids and I both love it and the cost was also low for a Wii U game.

This is a great game. It has all of the familiar Mario elements with a bunch of new ideas too. It is challenging, but not ridiculous. My 5yo loves playing this game. There aren't many games that he can play.

The game was bought for my son, and he loves the game. It is easy for him to learn the game, plus has many levels to play.

A reincarnation of one of the best 2d mario games ever made, Super Mario World, with a 2.5d perspective; 4-player coop with each character having different abilities likened to Super Mario Bros 2; extremely fun, new power-ups: cat suit (climb and scratch), cherry (makes duplicates of characters), cannon box (become cannon), ice skate(skate in giant ice skate); 4-player cooperate and control a giant yoshi-Plessie; creative and challenging levels. Just pure gaming bliss.

3D platforming freshens the Mario franchise. Looks pleasant and there are plenty of levels. Also being able to play as either Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad is nice. 3D can however have some weird depth perception but nothing too big.

My kid loves this game. It is easy to play. The 3D perspective is hard to get use to. 4 players equals more fun.

As a lover of Mario games this one does not let me down. It's fun, easy to play, and keeps me on the move.

I had to sell my first copy because I had come pretty close to beating it and didn't play it all that often and to be honest, I needed the money! With my gamers unlocked discount the price went from $20 to $15 and that's totally worth it for a full Mario game. Lately I've been getting into mario and she loves Super Mario 3D Land. When I move in with her I'm excited about showing her my game and movie collection!

I was a late adopter of the Wii U. Lately, I've been going back through the console's library of games and stumbled upon Super Mario 3D World. I had watched videos and read reviews upon it's release in 2013 when it was hailed as the Wii U's first triumph. 3 years later l finally had a chance to discover Super Mario 3D World, and to no one's surprise, it is still an excellent game that makes clever use of the Wii U's gamepad.

This is a fun game that can be challenging enough for even the most seasoned Mario players, but has enough opportunities for workarounds to soften the challenge for younger players who need a slight leg up. I've played it solo and with 2-3 extra people as well and found that there are benefits and drawbacks to having more or fewer players. Definite recommend for any Wii owner who enjoys a good Mario platformer.

I am older and come from another school of gaming than those of today. I have always loved mario and this game is no exception. I love the cat suits and the ability to climb walls and do things I have never been able to do in a mario game. It is also nice to be able to play as so many different characters. I would suggest this game to anyone who loves mario and even those new to gaming, it is very family friendly.

One of the best Mario games ever made! Awesome graphics, limitless fun, good for all ages.
