We bought this for our now 5 year old son. He loves it. Cant seem to get him to stop playing. This is a game that works well for adults or children. For adults it may remind them of their childhood playing Mario games. And for children its a whole new and exciting game!

Not my favorite platformer, but it's still fun! The storyline is kind of cheesy (and they make you sit through a bunch of cuts from it), but it's fun to play. I'll definitely continue through after I finish some other games.

I absolutely love this game. It brought back memories of sitting on the floor playing my Super Nintendo with Yoshi's Island plugged in. There's some new mechanics put into the game which made it all the more enjoyable I highly recommend playing this one for old fans and new fans alike.

Hello! If you are a fan of Yoshi, platformers, or the original Yoshi's Island adventure, then this game is definitely for you! It's awesome that Nintendo released this title as a Nintendo Select for those who are searching for great value and gameplay!

I'm not a huge fan of the art style BUT the game runs smoothly and is entertaining nonetheless.

Yoshi's New Island was a game I passed on at first release because it wasn't something that had appealed to me, but now at the new, low price, I just had to pick it up. The game is great and a lot of fun, though completing the game 100% is going to take quite a bit of time.

Game similar to the original. Only con is that there aren't any mini games after you beat a level. Unless there are but I've play a few levels and haven't come across one yet. Instead of the mini games, you get badges. Not sure what those do quite yet.

own SNES original but missed opportunity for GBA and DS versions. Liked what I played so far its just like I remember from SNES original with maybe some slight changes. IF Nintendo NX is backwards compatible OR gets wii u port will buy Yoshi's Woolly World

While there's definitely better Yoshi games, and 3DS games in general, Yoshi's New Island is a decent addition to the series. At $20 it's a great value, plus the Best Buy Gamer's Club Unlocked discount takes 20% off, which makes it even better.

My kids (ranging in age from 6-15) love this game, well, anything from Mario really. For under $20, it's a great buy for a 3DS game. I would definitely recommend to anyone with a DS or 3DS, regardless of age.

Yoshis island is a great addition to the Super Mario World series, with classic gameplay elements coming together with some new features and 3d! Definitely reccommended for any 3ds owner!

I just bought a 3DS a few weeks back and knew this had to be a must own. The game is fun and kiddish. I'm 30 and bought it simply because it is a Nintendo title. It's fun overall. Has Mario and the gang in it.

It's an okay game, but the music is pretty terrible (which is odd coming from Nintendo, who is usually fantastic with music) and the game is just too easy.

Yoshi's Island is by far my favorite game of all time. (Don't make fun of me.) Continuing where the old one left off just made my life. I can play this over and over again.

Yoshi's New Island plays like a sequel to the original on the super Nintendo. The game has the same mechanics. Though it lacks the charm of the original, it is still a fun and challenging platformer.

My daughter is loving this game. She understood the game instantly. I could tell she was bored with her other games because she stopped playing her DS. This game got her back interested in it.
