Very impressed with the sound quality. We have very difficult room acoustics, high ceilings, tiled floors, but this unit is definitely impressive. Expensive...

I purchased the Sennheiser soundbar with great expectations. I'm in a position to appreciate the configuration of the Sennheiser, with no required sub or surrounds.
My issues began immediately upon unboxing the unit. There were no English set-up instructions to start with. I tracked those down on the website, but it was inconvenient. Next, I downloaded the Sennheiser app and began the set-up, but that process was interrupted in trying to get the remote to work. It was dead. So, I replaced the battery immediately and tried to continue, but the remote would never work.
Next, I attempted to pair my mobile device with the Sennheiser to no avail. No matter what kind of trouble-shooting I performed, it would not work. I could get sound out of the unit, but I'm sure it wasn't what Sennheiser intended.
So the Sennheiser flunked the unboxing and set-up step, the convenience step, the performance step, and the overall configuration and usage step.
I had big hopes for this all-in-one unit. Compared to the Sonos Arc, with a sub, and surrounds, it held great promise, but fell far short of that promise.
I hope others have a much better experience and success in implementation.

After a good deal of research, I narrowed by choice for a new soundbar to the Sonos system, including the Arc, Sub, and rear surrounds; and the Sennheiser Ambeo. The deciding factor was the Ambeo being an all-in-one option. My wife is a bit of a minimalist, and I knew she would appreciate not having the additional sub, and surrounds around my living room.
The Ambeo was easy to setup initially. I watched a movie with Dolby Atmos, and the sound was very good. Right away, though, I noticed a humming coming from left side of the product. Listening closer, there was also a slight crackling sound in the left upward firing speaker. I thought that I would do a factory reset. This didn't go well. I was not able to reconnect to either the app, or Google Home, Worse than that was that the sounds persisted. Trying to call Sennheiser Customer Service was a complete waste of time. So, I returned it to Best Buy, and tried to get the Sonos system, but they were not available. I was able to get the entire Sonos system from a small retailer close to my home. It sounds GREAT!!!!!!!!

Dont waste your time on this piece of trash! It gets SUPERHOT and when you play anykind of youtube music or videos the sound comes out very muddy and muffled. Yes you get the 3D but not from the back only from the front and sides. The bass isnt very powerful and for something costing close too $2500 you think that thing would blow all soundbars out the water but NOPE! All hype! Straight up Trash!
