I like these but for the money not being C type or Apple charger capable and a short lasting 5 hour roughly battery life I was disappointed that it was not a more refined product like my headphones are as these cost nearly as much with 1/10 the material.

Stylish well-rounded sound; A/V sync issues on iOS

Sennheiser has a pretty good reputation for putting out stylish and great sounding headphones. These in-ear headphones are the HD1 Free, which are In-Ear Wireless headphones within the HD1 Family of products. The HD1 family of products are "headphones with MOMENTUM" which means they are focused towards smartphone usage by incorporating a microphone and remote buttons, as opposed to simply headphones. These aren't a "true wireless" set like some on the market, as they do have a cord connecting the two earbuds together. They are fairly symmetric in design with the in-line controls below the right earbud and what I presume is the battery below the left earbud. The cord connecting the two is red/black, while the earbuds have a stainless steel finish which is just magnetic enough to keep the two earbuds together when not in-use. Overall, these look great, are very light and the three ear adapter sizes hopefully make for a snug fit.
But how do they sound/perform? From a codec perspective, they support AAC, aptX and of course SBC. This means on the iPhone, it will use AAC while on supported Android devices aptX will be preferred. First off, they're straightforward enough to pair with both the iPhone and Android.
On both my iPhone X (running iOS 11.3 Public Betas) and iPhone 7 (iOS 11.2.2), battery life is reported which is nice and pretty much expected nowadays. However, I noticed with both that the audio is not perfectly synced with video, which is a little disappointing. I've seen this on true wireless sets, but never on a "regular" Bluetooth set like these.
On my Android devices (Pixel XL and Essential Phone, both with Oreo 8.1), battery life is also reported. aptX is used with both, and audio IS in sync with video.
I'm hoping the sync issue on iOS can be improved via updates, assuming the HD1 Free can be updated. Sennheiser does have a mobile app, CapTune, but I can't tell if it can provide product updates or is simply used for equalization tweaks.
From a sound perspective, I've found that Sennheiser products provide a well-rounded sound without any loudness or overexagerated bass response, and the HD1 Free seems to follow along those lines. Like most in-ears, you'll get the best sound quality with a snug fit. Battery life has also been very good and the set is very light; you don't really feel the connecting cord from a weight perspective.
Overall, I recommend these if you prefer a well-rounded sound signature, but be aware of the A/V sync issues on iOS.

Sennheiser is sometimes overlooked by mainstream buyers when considering headphones. They are one of my favorite brands and they have delivered good quality and sound once again. Although there are some minor improvements I'd like to see, the IE headphones have impressed me. These earphones blew me away within 30 seconds of listening to them. There is generally a significant different sound-profile when listening to IE Headphones compared to around-ear and I honestly was not expecting to be blown away. These are AMAZING! The sound quality, fit, and sound level are some of the best I've experienced in any type of headphone. I highly suggest buying this set without thinking twice.
Pros:
Absolutely phenomenal sound
Excellent Fit
Good look
Great design
The sounds perfectly balanced. The Bass packs a punch with good depth that does not overpower the vocals or instruments. High notes never distort, even at the loudest sound levels. I'm very happy with the consistent delivery regardless of genre or sound source. Watching movies felt like I was right in the action. I cannot emphasize how great the sound on this set is. Sennheiser always has great fitting IE headphones in my experience. Absolutely no wiggle. I don't even realize they're in. I really like the design of this set, although it could look more high-end, since this is an expensive set. A single colored black/matte black would have sufficed. Sennheiser also killed it with balancing a counterweight (I assume this is the battery) one the Left earbud opposite the controls. It can be really annoying and off-balancing when there are controls on one side and nothing on the other.
Cons:
Would like to see slightly better battery life
Could have more high-end/luxury look.
Buy these now. Don't even think about.

I own several sets of wireless headphones and these fall right into the middle of the pack. The sound is good, but not exceptional, The battery life is rated at six hours which is also at the middle of the pack.
The bass is average, as are the mid and high ranges. The sound is good and clarify is also good. Overall, these are descent headphones.
They are very comfortable and it comes with additional ear inserts. It is difficult to hear outside noises, so they are good for an office environment. They pair easily and all functions work as advertised.
The leather case is a nice touch and adds some class that others do not. The adjustable slide is also very nice for adjusting around the neck.

These headphones have excellent sound, much better than I'd ever expect from an in-ear model that's so small and lightweight. Whether I'm listening to music, movies, or podcasts, the sound is immersive, clear, and just plain impressive.
These are also very lightweight, and feel comfortable and secure in my ears. The battery charges quickly (as advertised) and lasts right around 6 hours of play time (also as advertised).
I was glad to learn that I could pair up to 8 devices with these, and have 2 connected simultaneously. Also, not all Bluetooth connectivity is the same. The Sennheiser HD1 Free support a wide range of advanced Bluetooth protocols, and I've not had any issues with sound cutting out or getting out of sync with video (which were problems I had with a cheaper pair of headphones connected to the same device).
My only complaints are minor and have nothing to do with the core functions of sound and connectivity. The cord is rubber which sometimes clings to the collar of my shirt or jacket. A fabric cord would have been nicer for such a high-end product. Also, the earbuds themselves are magnetic to stick together around your neck when not in use, but the magnet isn't very strong at all. They seem to come apart after I take just a few steps.
Overall, a great product. I'm very happy with the sound, connectivity, and comfort, and would confidently recommend the Sennheiser HD1 Free headphones to a friend.

As always, this is another quality product from Sennheiser. I've owned a number of their headphones and never had an issue with any of them. The sound quality from these buds is absolutely outstanding. Truly some of the best sounding earbuds I've ever used (and I have used many from many different brands). Two things in particular I really like are the fit and the light weight. Getting a perfect fit with earbuds can be tricky because everyone is different. However, these are extremely comfortable. Helping ad to that comfort is the fact that these are probably the lightest weight Bluetooth buds I've ever used. Not that earbuds are really ever heavy, but every ounce counts considering they are essentially just resting on your ear. The extra ear piece covers are a nice touch although I found the pre installed ones to fit me perfectly. The storage case is very nice as well. But, getting back to what matters most, the sound quality. Extremely clean, tight sound with good highs. Although I would like a bit more base, it is adequate for what these are. In general, earbuds rarely have very strong base. Just not an easy thing to accomplish considering the size. All in all, these are absolutely excellent earbuds!

I was lucky enough to get the chance to try out the Sennheiser - HD1 Free Wireless headphones. If you're not already familiar with Sennheiser, they're a well known company in the mic and headphone recording industry. They make high end set of Hi-Res wired earphones going for just under $1000. The earphones comes with a protective leather carrying case when not in use. This set of Bluetooth earphones did not disappoint. The HD1 had the sound quality and bass I've come to know and expect from Sennheiser. These are one of the best sounding Bluetooth earphones I've used to date. The sound is clean and crisp and the bass has the boom you want when listening to music to pump you up and get you into your work out.
Connecting the earphones was easy and simple, the navigation buttons on the right side is also easy to use, Next Track, Play/Pause, and Previous Track. The earphones wire length is a bit long for my preference, the extra length of wires moved a lot during my jogs and treadmill runs. I was able to solve the wires bouncing around with an old cellphone headset clip I pulled from an old set of headphones.
Overall, I'm very happy with my headphones, I'd recommend anyone that's looking for anyone looking for high quality sounds and bass from a Bluetooth headset to consider the Sennheiser - HD1 Free Wireless earphones.

Great sound quality which is what the primary function is so they got that right. I had trouble keeping them in my ear and the stick out farther than other brands that sound just as good. I tried all three of the different sized silicone ear inserts and none worked perfectly. I attribute some of that problem to how they actually insert into your ear and the weight/type of lanyard. The lanyard is a silicone type covering which "sticks" to things and creates drag that sometimes pulls the earbuds out. It is also challenging to wear these inside a helmet.
That being said those things are tolerable considering the clean crisp sound these produce. Battery life seems to be excellent so far. Set up was easy and is intuitive if you have experience with other blue tooth devices. Instructions are clear in case you have questions and the included case is a great bonus.
I would recommend these based on sound quality.

For the price these deliver on sound quality, light weight, great battery life, quick recharge and ease of connection.
I have owned many top of the line Bluetooth ear buds and these are the best especially if you consider the price.
If your looking for great highs and lows these are it. They also have an app where you can adjust the right and left ear to the way you want to here your music. I love bass and this delivers in spades, yeah.
The overall build quality is very good to excellent, my only problem was getting a perfect ear fit but still very adequate.
