For a wireless headphone, the quality with the USB dongle attached is as close to a wired headphone as it could. Wore it on a 12 hour flight for the entire flight, extremely comfortable with long battery life

These are pretty good headsets, a bit smaller then what I'm used to tho but i got dome pros and cons with these. Pros, Sound quality: Sound is pretty good, can't say the best as advertised, but they do pretty good. Comfortability: They are alittle smaller then what I'm used to, but they are pretty Comfortable. Battery: i didn't have them long enough to say on the battery. Cons: Touch screen on headsets is what i didn't like, you move your head it hits a pillow or anything around you it will change what ever setting you have volume to power. It's sensitive so it does detect your finger to change settings, but i don't think touch screens should be on headsets. I like analog better. Sound: Doesn't really get loud, and bass is there even with the tuned audio but it's still lacking alittle bass and isn't very loud. Summery: Good headsets, the build quality is Comfortable to wear, but the sound isn't quite there, they also really should keep it at analog over touch screen. Because they will get annoying very fast, but they do have a nice build.

The best Bluetooth headphones for audiophile sound at this price point. They work just as well with both iOS and Android. The app is also feature rich and easy to use. I like how the app consistently displays the audio resolution. Battery life is amazing.

Real nice headphones, plugging them into your source definitely boosts the sound and the 60 hour use time is nice. These are slightly better sounding than the B&W px7s2.

Best headphones i ever had im using them for pretty much music and when i go to the gym, noise canceling is amazing too you cant almost hear anything coming from outside loud noise, battery life i ran them until none was left before charge lasted me about 64 hours there is also an app if you know how to play with the audio to get the best sounds for whatever you into you can make profiles there. I highly recommend these if you into music, movies, even gaming if you get them to work the way you want them.

The sound quality and features like Eq are very good. The one thing that holds them back for me is the battery is nonreplaceable, and even in wired mode they require battery for DSP so they are eventual ewaste. Minor complaint that they lack enough volume on certain devices.

Excellent value for the money! Offers exceptional detail, dynamics, and a neutral, natural sound that competes with wired headphones. Build quality feels less premium than the competition (ex. Apple)

Sound quality leagues better than any other headphones I've ever used. The USB-C adapter can be a little finicky on iPhone, idk if it the Bluetooth on the phone or the headphones, but sometimes the headphones will connect via Bluetooth instead of the adapter, which Bluetooth delivers inferior sound quality (only lossless, no Dolby Atmos). Battery life is amazing. Price tag is my only reason for it being 4 stars.

The Sennheiser - HDB 630 Around-the-ear Bluetooth Wireless Headphones are my new favorite for enjoying high resolution music with a neutral yet detailed sound. The build quality feels solid, yet lightweight enough, super comfortable and the sound and microphone are crystal clear. Thanks to the multipoint connectivity and the included BTD-700 high-res aptX dongle, they paired quickly with both my laptop and my phone via bluetooth. They come with 4 mics and Active Noise-Canceling which will satisfy a variety of scenarios providing different ANC and transparency modes. There is no noticeable hissing sound when ANC is enabled, but I feel like my Sony XM4’s have slightly better ANC even though they’re a couple of years old. The Sennheiser Smart Control App will allow you to fine-tune all settings and install firmware updates. The 5-band graphic EQ with standard presets may be more than enough for most, but Sennheiser offers additional fine-tuning with fully featured parametric EQ that allows you to tweak the sound to your liking and save the custom settings. Even out of the box, with the default “neutral” setting, they sound clear and precise with well defined mids and trebles, and just enough supporting bass. I would say if you’re mostly listening to hip-hop or rap music, these may not boom enough for you, but if you’re listening to classical music, jazz, classic rock, new age, you will love the detailed sound stage these headphones offer. Sennheiser went above and beyond the competition and included a BTD 700 USB-C Bluetooth transmitter in the box, which adds high resolution streaming to smartphones and tablets that don't natively support the higher-quality aptX HD codec. This small dongle lets you stream music at up to 24-bit/96kHz quality using the aptX Adaptive codec, which offers higher resolution and greater data transfer than the standard Bluetooth codec found on iPhones. You can also get the same lossless audio quality using them wired via USB-C or the 3.5mm audio cables included in the box. The touch controls and gestures take some learning and getting used to and could be a bit too sensitive. I wish they were more like the older Microsoft Surface 2 headphones that combine simple touch controls with smooth rotary dials. One cool feature is the auto-on/off feature when you pick them up and put them on, or power off when you take them off and set them down. The battery life is amazing, up to 60 hours with ANC off and an impressive 45 hours with ANC and high-res audio. The USB-C cable is about 5ft long which is very generous and comes in handy for connecting/charging other devices as well. A rigid carrying case with zipper is also included which helps keep them dust-free and provides room for all the cables and accessories for travel. Overall, these are very comfortable, well built headphones, with impeccable sound quality for high-res music listening for audiophiles and would recommend it to anyone who can afford it.

These headphones will blow away AirPods max or Bose qc ultra or sony xm6 Sennheiser experimented differently with hdb630 with the provided bluetooth dongle. ANC is far more improved than Momentum 4. Waiting to see what will momentum 5 bring.

If you're thinking about picking these up, just do it. The only area these don't deliver on industry leading tech is ANC and that's only barely. Do yourself a favor

These are by far the best headphones I have ever used. The sound is so natural and realistic, it engulfs you in whatever you are listening too. Treble, bass, highs, mids, lows.. all incredibly accurate. Only thing I wish it had was aptX lossless via Bluetooth.

I have been using the Sennheiser HDB630 Wireless Headphones for quite some time, and my overall experience has been excellent. They come across as a premium product right out of the box due to their lightweight nature and how they fit comfortably on your head during long listening sessions. The ear cups fit comfortably on the ears, and the leatherette headband is a nice touch. Where these headphones excel the most is in their sound quality. The sound is generally neutral in terms of tuning. Mids and highs are clear and have a wide sound stage. Vocals and acoustic tracks sound natural and well separated. While the parametric EQ is an interesting feature for those that love to customize their sound, it may be overkill for the average user. The crossfeed feature is a nice little touch for certain older recordings, creating a more natural sound. I haven't had any issues with the connectivity on the HDB630. I have found that using the aptX HD technology with the included BTD700 dongle, I've been able to get some cleaner wireless audio than I would normally get through standard Bluetooth. The active noise cancelling (ANC) feature on these headphones is satisfactory; in my opinion, not the most powerful compared to other leading brands in this category, but it does eliminate low-frequency background noise without compromising audio quality. As for the transparency feature on these headphones, it works great. Another excellent feature of the HDB630 is the battery life. I have been able to use the HDB630 for multiple days on a single charge; the fast charge feature is definitely a bonus. These headphones are not the cheapest on the market, but if you're looking for a headphone that provides great sound quality, customisation, and comfort, these headphones deserve serious consideration.

    THE wireless headphones for audiophiles

The HDB 630 bears a pretty conservative look that's pretty similar to Sennheiser's Momentum 4. They appear to be constructed out of plastic but they seem high quality. While worn, I never heard any creaking from it like some other plastic headphones I've worn. The cushioning on both the ear cups and the headband are plush, while the faux leather material feels soft and gentle on the skin. They feel comfortable for me, although with long sessions they can get uncomfortable from my sweaty ears. The ear cups can swivel in both directions, which is the first I've seen, for me personally, with the headphones I've used. I've found this very convenient because the right ear cup houses touch controls. With the ability to swivel in either direction, I can have the touch control side of the ear cups flipped away from my body to prevent accidental inputs, something that commonly happens with other touch control headphones I've used. The decision to go with touch controls is unfortunate because, like all the other headphones with touch controls, it's prone to accidental input. One time while wearing them outside in the cold wind after it rained, the HDB 630's touch controls wildly made adjustments on its own and I wasn't sure what. Whenever any touch input is registered it makes a beep sound (it sounds like the sound in Pong when a ball is it). I'd later find out from checking the app that the level of ANC was modified. Adjusting the ANC is done with a pinch gesture. Pinch in to increase ANC level. Pinch out to lower ANC level and allow more transparency (hearing your surroundings). Double tapping the right ear cup toggles between 100% ANC and 100% transparency. There's an anti-wind option in the app, which is absolutely necessary to block out wind noise, but when turned on, it decreases its effectiveness to noise cancel other sounds. When it comes to connections, the HDB 630 shines. You can connect it wirelessly via Bluetooth, or the included USB-C BTD 700 dongle (which can be purchased separately). You can also connect it wired via the traditional 3.5mm audio jack, or via USB-C audio. Something to keep in mind about USB-C audio is that connecting it this will have it drawing power from your device to charge the headphones also. The included BTD 700 does not come with a USB-C to USB-A adapter like the standalone version that's sold separately, so you'll only be able to use the dongle with USB-C devices out of the box. With the BTD 700, you'd be able to listen to your device wirelessly using the higher res codec, AptX Adaptive when your device doesn't natively support the high res AptX codecs. Double-pressing the button on the dongle switches it to low latency mode, which will help if you experience audio/video lag with the headphones. The dongle also works with other headphones as well. While it's convenient to have, I also can't help but think that we're paying the price, literally, for that dongle to be included with the HDB 630. That's $60 tacked on for something that not all users may use or appreciate. One of the reasons why the HDB 630's target audience is the audiophile. The sound signature of the HDB 630 sounds like wired Sennheiser headphones. They have a very neutral sound which could disappoint some users who've become accustomed to the warmer sounds from some of the other popular wireless headphones out there. But for audiophiles, that's the best setup to EQ with. And the main selling point is its parametric EQ. For those not as advanced to utilize the parametric EQ, the HDB 630 also has the traditional graphic EQ of which it has 5 bands (50, 250, 800, 3k, 8k). I think the best genre of music with the HDB 630 is probably classical for its clarity. With hip hop, the bass is so clean and doesn't muddy the vocals. But you won't get bass that really kicks like you would on some of the more general consumer-friendly headphones. Kendrick Lamar's Backseat Freestyle still thumps on the HDB 630 but you won't get that fun strong thumping from it. If you're a fan of exaggerated bass, you'll come away disappointed. But if you want accurate sound, the HDB 630 sound like a dream. Battery life on the HDB 630 is also a dream. I've had trouble draining the battery to get an accurate test of the battery life simply because it just lasts so long and I've been tempted to use it for just normal use. Sennheiser claims a 60 hour battery life, and I feel inclined to believe them. I've gone as long as 2 straight days of non-stop audio with the battery level at 100 (out of 150) on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra with battery life left to spare, so that itself was 48 hours. Recharging the HDB 630 from 0% to 100% takes 90 minutes. There is no way to access your digital assistant from the HDB 630 itself, so you'd have to access it directly from your device. As far as features go, it has on-head detection to automatically pause music, calls, or put the headphones into power saving mode when they aren't worn after a period of time. But nothing else. The microphone quality is average. I've been able to make calls comfortably, and listeners on the other side had no problem hearing me. But the microphone audio still sounds subpar. Add to the fact that the ANC isn't the best, which makes calls and microphone recordings pretty bad in a noisy environment. While using the microphone, the audio that's playing also gets degraded into what sounds like monaural audio, which is annoying. The ANC is pretty good for most everyday use cases, but when stacked against its competition, it's not the best. It doesn't block chatter as well other headphones I've used. But it will block out passing cars, especially with music playing. Car honking will pierce right through and can be heard. I guess it struggles with higher frequency sounds. Pros: -Sound quality -Parametric EQ -Connection options -Ear cups swivel in both directions -Includes bluetooth dongle to make devices support high-res AptX codecs when they normally don't Cons: -Lacks features -Audio quality degrades when microphone is in use For the bass loving listeners, I wouldn't sell the HDB 630 short, because the bass is clearly present with them and they sound pleasantly clean. I'd recommend trying them at a store to see if it's to your liking. Because everything else about the HDB 630 sounds amazing out of the box with its neutral sound signature.
