My new favorite headphones!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these and compared them to other headphones, if you like better base on high volume, these headphones maintain that, they're comfortable, automatically turn on ( when you put them on your head ) and off when you take them off, you can connect them to two different devices at the same time ( phone and a laptop in my case ) I actually like them more than my sony xm5!

A big Surprise
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from the Sony X5 headphones, I was a true Sony fan. However, the XM'5s started hurting my head..I'm bald and do not have enough padding. And also at higher volumes, the quality goes down. So after a lot of research, I came across the the Sennh M4. The first thing I noticed was much more comfortable than Sony's. Now when I purchased mine in Jan 2024 it was before the update and they were fine. After the update to a 5 band eq. These headphones blew the competition out of the water. I listen to these every day now with Tidal Hi-Res, and the music is just ... Beautiful. I also bought the Momentum 3 TW and I am a Sennheiser fanboy now.

DON’T REVIEW THESE BEFORE USING THE SOFTWARE!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the first headphones I’ve owned that REQUIRE customization to your ears via the app. If you don’t do it, they’ll lack punch, volume, and a significant soundstage. I wore them for at least a year disappointed by the sound quality because I didn’t want to install another app. I simply didn’t know it was required! I went from ignoring them for my planar magnetic setup whenever possible, to reaching for them first whenever my ears need some blessing. PUNCHY BASS, decent mid and delicately rendered yet full treble and a tight but cleanly defined soundstage ❤️ * I ran the customization 3 times before I was completely satisfied with the outcome. Sennheiser has hamstrung these out of the box by shipping them with a very anemic tuning.

Good Wireless headphones but with some issues.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great/accurate sound, up-to-par noise-cancelling with Bose/Sony's, while some of the features need improvement, E.G. ear-detection was somewhat inconsistent. Too bad it was not loud enough when paired wireless with my iPhone or iPad. To be fair I don't know if that was just the unit I got or a general issue with iPhone/iPad wireless pairing. I really wanted to keep it but couldn't justify to have to maintain a wired connection to my iPhone/iPad to get decent enough volume and fully enjoy the sound quality that these headphones are capable of. I'm waiting a bit, for newer firmware/software updates, before trying again as I am a fan of Sennhesier wired headphones and would like to have the same (or close to) audio quality from a pair of BT headphones, which these were was it not for the volume level issue.

I think they’re nice
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m not an audiophile but I believe these sound pretty good. I tend to use these near daily between 1-3 hours and only really need to charge them every other week. Bluetooth Multipoint isn't as useful as I’d hoped. Noise cancelling is nice, but I find myself having to turn the headphones off and on to reset it sometimes. If I take them off my head too many times, noise cancelling gets some weird effect I can only compare to sounding like I’m inside a fishbowl. If you’re okay with that, then these are okay.

Awesome audio
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones have amazing audio. The build is also good super simple and nothing flashy. Only one logo. And the buttons and touch features are on the right ear cup making it easy to handle. The noise canceling is good and pretty much the same as the xm4. When the audio is playing all outside noise is gone. The app is easy to use. And highly recommended. Audio is defiantly amazing coming from sennheiser. And the battery life is pretty crazy you can use it daily for 2 weeks without charging. Then charge it for 1 hour or so. And have battery for another 2-3 weeks. Every month you’ll probably charge it once or twice for a total of 2-3 hours.

Great sound but…
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These over the ear headphones have a great sound. However, the touchpad can be a bit annoying. The control are also only on the right side, which is not convenient. The Sennheiser App is not bad and very customizable. These are definitely great for moderate activities and plane ride. Any more than that, you’ll find yourself hating the touch pad.

LISTEN
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If using with ios, get a bluetooth dongle that supports the higher codecs that aren’t native to iphones. Sound is MUCH better and use sound personalization to lock in your sound preferences.

Excellent headphones
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones sound great, have excellent battery life, decent build quality and decent noise cancellation. Comparing these to Airpods Max and Sony XM4’s, I like the sound of these better. I would say the build quality is in the ballpark of the of Sony’s, maybe a smidge less, but nowhere near as nice feeling as the metal but heavy Airpods Max. Noise cancellation also isnt as good as either of those headphones. But if how it sounds is what matters to you, these are the winners.

Phenomenal Headphones
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it comes to sound quality, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones truly stand out. With their crisp audio reproduction, clear mid and high frequencies, and an ability to maintain quality even at higher volumes, these headphones deliver an exceptional listening experience. While they may not cater specifically to bass enthusiasts, if you consider yourself an audiophile, you need not look any further. The Momentum 4 headphones are undoubtedly the perfect choice for those seeking top-notch audio within this price range. The standout feature of the Momentum 4 headphones lies in their ability to produce a clear and precise sound signature. The mid and high frequencies are beautifully rendered, ensuring that every detail of your music is brought to life. From delicate vocals to intricate guitar solos and grand orchestral arrangements, these headphones excel at reproducing each element with remarkable accuracy and clarity. It's an experience that allows you to truly appreciate the subtle nuances in your favorite tracks. Additionally, the Momentum 4 headphones deserve praise for their consistent audio quality, even at higher volume levels. Unlike many other headphones that tend to distort and lose clarity when pushed to their limits, these headphones maintain their composure. Whether you prefer a more subdued listening experience or enjoy cranking up the volume for a more immersive feel, the Momentum 4 headphones won't disappoint. While these headphones may not satisfy the cravings of bass heads, their bass performance is still noteworthy. The bass is clear, well-defined, and seamlessly integrated into the overall sound profile. It strikes a fine balance that complements the other frequencies without overpowering them. If you appreciate accurate and controlled bass, the Momentum 4 headphones will impress you. In terms of build quality, Sennheiser's attention to detail shines through. The Momentum 4 headphones boast a premium construction using high-quality materials. They feel sturdy and luxurious, promising durability for extended use. The comfortable ear cups provide a secure fit, enhancing passive noise isolation and allowing you to fully immerse yourself in your music without disturbances. One minor area for improvement could be the noise isolation, which could be slightly better. While the headphones do a decent job of blocking out external noise, they may not offer the same level of isolation in particularly noisy environments. However, this is a minor consideration given the overall stellar performance of the headphones. In conclusion, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones are a true delight for audiophiles seeking unparalleled sound quality. With their crisp sound, clear mid and high frequencies, and unwavering performance even at higher volumes, these headphones offer an immersive listening experience that will captivate your senses. While they may not cater to bass enthusiasts, they strike a perfect balance for those who value a well-balanced and accurate sound signature. If you're an audiophile in search of exceptional headphones within this price range, the Momentum 4 is an excellent choice. Indulge in these headphones and prepare to be transported to a realm of sonic bliss.
