The sound seemed less than desirable. It was hollow and the noise cancellation was not present in my ears. This left me hearing the trains over my music.

Sound stage is wide and clear. Bass is lacking compared to Sony XM4, and the EQ setting in the app could have been better. ANC is not strong compared to XM4s

Don't buy. I had 2 each broke within a month. One earbud starts to sound louder than the other then transparency mode doesn't work at all. Ive emailed senheisser customer service haven't replied in weeks. I've tried calling during business hours and the call tells me to call them back during business hours.

Poor quality for the money, cancels noise due to being in ear. Does not cancel noise when running, cancels noise if you are in a library. Poor touch controls, wiping face with towel or anything brushing against it will cause headphones to change modes, unpair, turn-off music. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Pro: -Good noise canceling -Wireless charging -Each side connect individually Con: -White noise in transparency -Some features in the app unnecessary requires you to make an account Buds and Charging Case Included in the box are four tip sizes (XS to L) and three sets of wings. The buds themselves look a bit blocky and bulky, and stick out a bit when worn. It has touch controls on each side that isn’t too sensitive, and the functions can be edited with the app. The charging case, although not the smallest, is still compact enough. It has a fabric cover with a front USB-C port, but can also be charged wirelessly. Each side can be connected independently. It does seem to have a connection issue when taken out of the case. It will connect one side first, disconnect, and reconnect with both sides. It also can take a while to connect with the app. Audio Quality These buds overall sound great, with clear and detailed audio. By default it has more of a neutral balanced sound, so those looking for heavy bass may be disappointed, but you can adjust the EQ with the app to help boost the sound. Noise Canceling and Transparency Mode The noise canceling is really good. It cuts out all noise by at least 50%, and not just low rumbling sounds, but even voices (like from a TV) are muffled. The normal noise canceling doesn’t handle wind very well, having a lot of popping and static, but within the app, you can switch to anti wind which will eliminate them at the cost of some canceling. Transparency mode still needs some improvement. It doesn’t sound natural and has a lot of white noise added. The sound coming through isn’t that clear and sounds more like you’re listening while cupping your ears. Battery Each charge will last you about 6-7 hours, with the charging case giving you up to about 25 hours. App Within the app you can adjust the EQ or choose from the listed presets, control noise canceling and transparency mode, edit the touch controls, and adjust the settings for auto pause or auto call answer. There are two features that are nice, but needlessly require you to make an account just to use them. One is Sound Check which lets you create a personalized sound preset. The other one, a feature that other brands don't have, is the Sound Zone. This feature uses your gps and automatically applies your sound settings based on your location, up to 20 zones. This is a cool feature, but there is no reason why an account has to be made just to use it.

The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 scream for 5 stars. The fit perfectly in my ear - which has been tough for me because I must have a weird canal shape. Battery life is fantastic, the case is small enough to not be a nuisance in my pocket and the audio sounds great as is. The only problem is I like more fine tuning to get the sound exactly where I want it. I'm extremely sensitive to highs so I always have to tweak them down. The only problem I just need the higher squeals tuned down, not the whole range of treble. You can only tweak mid, treble, and bass but also has a bass boost function. To get my sound closer to where I like it, I had to turn on bass boost, tune down the bass, increase mids a smidge, and turn down the treble. It still need some extra tuning that the app just doesn't allow. Other than that the sound is way better than I hoped. Noise cancelling works as good as the IEM that are being replaced - only reason to replace is my weird ear canal shape that made the left bud pop out all the time. I did some yard work without any problems of messing up my hearing from all the lawn machine noises. And I never had to adjust the buds during the whole 3hr session. Perfect fit! The noise cancelling did have some trouble with wind, but my other IEMs have the same problem but it's nothing to annoying. There is an option for "real world" passthrough, but I never had a need for that but it's nice that it's there if I do, like walking around in public and still want to be aware of my surroundings while listening to music. Big plus is wireless charging. While it's not as fast as wired, it's easy to just toss the case onto my charger and forget about it for a while and come back to some IEM's that are ready to put in work. One problem I did have was that I couldn't pair it to my PC. I'll have to do some research and see what might be going on. Next test will be to see if it'll pair with my gaming laptop. I have nothing but love for the headphones, but dang it if the app doesn't cripple something that's so perfect.

Customer service is very poor from Sennheiser when a problem occurs. Example right earbud malfunction with microphone, and couldn’t work noise iso. work, also a constant ringing. A month later and still to no avail a replacement has not been provided. Product was great till all this occurred 2 months after purchase.

    Nonfunctional after 2 years

Alright, so, for a long time I loved these earbuds and they lasted me for 2 years solid, but after I went about a month of not using them the batteries in both earbuds became completely unchargable, I tried cleaning the case, I tried cleaning the buds, I tried charging the case and the buds, I tried wireless, wired, all of the above, everything I could think of. I *loved* these headphones, because the sound quality was unmatched, the battery life when they worked was easily 6 hours, they connected really well most times and usually from far distances as well (30 feet, through thick concrete walls level) but for whatever reason after almost exactly 2 years, the moment I gave them a little time to rest, they stopped functioning completely. I loved these headphones so much and I'm devastated that they died in such a way, I feel that for paying the amount I did, which at the time was roughly 250$, that these headphones shouldn't have died from something so simple. I had no water damage, only minor drops, and kept them clean, so I truly don't understand why lack of use would be the thing to make them meet their end. Sennheiser did what they did best, sound quality, but the lifespan of these headphones was not near as long as they should've been for the price and quality. I guess my only suggestion is when not using them frequently, at least turn them on and test them once a week so they don't fall victim to what mine did.
