Best headphones I've ever put on my head! You literally forget they are on your head and get into a movie or show like you are there. You hear each and every sound that exist, in the film/show, you become immersed. I do not know who the best are out there, I only have this headset vs my Turtle Beach 800 and Logitech G933, this set WINS HANDS DOWN!

These is real high quality headset and you can see that right away. Sound is decent as well. As like any product, this one have cons too. 1. It is a bit heavy. After continuous initial usage my neck started hurting 2. Not too comfortable around the ears. Wish the cups were larger.

Sennheiser M2 headphones are absolutely one of the best on the market, in this category. Clarity of the sound is superb, I have never experienced something like that before. You will not regret if you purchase them.

These headphones are particularly good at being clear in all ranges, I can hear each individual instrument and vocals well enough for me to be the conductor or choir director,

I previously had a pair of Bose wired headphones that broke which caused me to visit a local Nest Buy that has a Magnilia store included. I checked the selection at the regular store but was either disappointed with the choice of wired (I hate the battery life limits of wireless) headphones and an associate brought me back to magnolia thinking I would like a pair of Sony headphones. I tried every pair they had and once I heard the Sennheiser's and learned they were on sale, done deal. They are comfortable, sound amazing and we're priced right. I had to order them and they came in as promised

This is the best headphone I purchased. Nice sound quality and comfortable ear cap. However, it does not isolate noise much.

The sound quality of this headphone is much better than bose base entry headphone but certainly not as comfortable. I would use it at home but use my bose for travel.

I already have a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50x, but had been wanting the Momentum 2s ever since they came out due to the rave reviews. After listening to them for a few weeks, both with and without my Dragonfly Black DAC, I can't say that the sound is better than the M50x, nor is it worse, but the M50x can seem a bit on the bulky side, and even get kind of uncomfortable after long periods of listening. The Momentum 2s are vastly more comfortable.

I would not pay more than $200 for these. They sound a lot like the 598 CS which are $100.

    Great Entry Level Headphones

Let me just say that these headphones sound fantastic with just about any type of music you can think of. The quality of Sennheiser always delivers. These headphones are not only stylish, but have a simple minimalist look to them that will compliment anyone. Sennheiser never ceases to produce quality when it comes to their sound. These headphones have a nice warm touch to them, while also being punchy and giving a simple well balanced sound. The bass does it's job, while the highs and mids give another dimension to your music. Picking up on all of the nuances of a recording, like hearing the chimes in the background, or a simple reverb you hadn't picked up on before. If you're looking for a balanced sound, then these are for you. While I would also enjoy a bit more bass on some music, these still provide a clear definition of the bass. It's not muddy, and that's where these differ. That is a quality to remember. Now onto the comfort of these cans. Again, I am not surprised at the level of quality that went into these headphones. The band is wrapped in a leather, and underneath is a supple alcantara. The cups are also very soft and luscious, you can hardly feel them on your head, and trust me, that is a big deal when you will want to listen to these headphones for hours. I recommend anyone getting these if you're in the market for a nice pair of headphones you can take anywhere and feel confident your music is going to sound great.

Great sounding headphones that do not need a amp. The ear pads are still kind of small but just big enough for me.

    OK - Not Exceptional

Purchased these for iPhone 7 use. Also bought On Ear Momentum Wireless at same time for wife, as a side note. Listened to the Momentum 2 Over Ear and first thing I noticed was how tinny it sounded. Asked my wife to listen and she felt same way. I have tried various sound settings and cannot get it to the pint where it is enjoyable. They are well made, comfortable and portable, but just does not have the sound I like with some bass - not a ton, but some. I listened to my wife On Ear Wireless Momentum (older version) and the sound was significantly better, to me, than the newer version. So much so, that I am retuning the new model and purchasing the older, wireless version for myself. My expectations are significantly higher, especially after reading rave reviews, but they just do not suit my taste, or listening preference - too high pitched, tinny, with minimal bass. Good for others, not me.

Got these a couple of weeks ago and they're literally the most comfortable headsets ever. The only thing that I wasn't expecting was the blue sheen in the color even though it is technically "black". Not a big deal though -- really good headphones.
